Every Fish in Bellona's Frenzy of War and How to Catch Them in Fisch

Bellona's Frenzy of War is the first layer of the Wrath of Olympus expansion beneath Atlantis in Roblox Fisch. It contains 12 unique fish you need to catch for a full Bestiary completion — a prerequisite for purchasing Bellona's Waraxe, the layer's exclusive fishing rod. Every fish can be caught from a single pool, so the real challenge is matching the right bait to the right weather and time of day.

Quick answer: You need to catch 11 standard fish (ranging from Trash to Mythical rarity) plus the Exotic-tier Legionnaire Lamprey, which only appears during a Legionnaire Lamprey Hunt triggered by perfect-catching 25 fish in a War Surge event.

How to Reach Bellona's Frenzy of War

Step 1: Equip your boat and sail to Grand Reef at GPS coordinates (-3554.2, 143.3, 472.2). At the center of Grand Reef, jump into the black hole to teleport to Atlantis.

Step 2: Once inside Atlantis, equip Advanced Diving Gear or a Water Bubble — you'll need oxygen protection. Super Flippers are also recommended for faster swimming.

Step 3: Head to the circular water pool at the center of Atlantis and dive straight down into the Kraken Pool. Follow the cracks at the bottom, and you'll be teleported into Bellona's Frenzy of War. A cutscene plays on your first visit.

All 12 fish in the Bestiary can be caught from the same fishing pool at GPS (-9021, -2307, 420), so you won't need to move between spots once you arrive.

No fish in this layer has a season requirement, which simplifies the grind considerably. The main bottleneck is the weather. Six of the 12 fish need either Clear or Windy weather during the day, while the three highest-rarity standard fish all demand Stormy weather at night.

War Surge Event and the Legionnaire Lamprey Hunt

The Legionnaire Lamprey is the only Exotic fish in this layer and cannot be caught through normal fishing. It exclusively appears during a Legionnaire Lamprey Hunt, which is tied to the War Surge localized event.

A War Surge triggers naturally through the disturbance mechanic. Using a rod with high disturbance — such as the Falcon — significantly speeds up the spawn. When a War Surge begins, the fishing pool glows red and the message "War Surge! The waters run red with fury!" appears on screen. Sundial Totems cannot force this event.

Once a War Surge is active, you need to perfect catch 25 fish to spawn the Legionnaire Lamprey Hunt. The Lamprey then becomes visible in the pool and can be hooked. After someone catches it, the hunt ends immediately.

⚠️
War Surge amplifies the area's unique "biting" mechanic. Fish gain a 25% chance per movement to bite, reducing your reeling progress by 25% and shrinking your Control bar by 12% for 2 seconds. Area shakes also hit harder, cutting reeling progress by 6%. Stay focused during the minigame.

Legionnaire Lamprey Boss Fight

Catching the Legionnaire Lamprey for the first time triggers a boss fight — a dodge-based minigame where you must survive incoming arrows and swords for about one minute. Warning indicators appear before each attack, giving you a brief window to react. Completing this fight breaks the Divine Seal at the center of the layer, unlocking access to the second layer, Apollo's Song of Light.

The boss fight only needs to be survived once. Subsequent catches of the Legionnaire Lamprey do not repeat it.

Unique Fishing Conditions in Bellona's Frenzy of War

Fishing in this layer is harder than in most other Fisch locations due to two persistent mechanics that affect every cast.

Fish biting: Every fish you hook has a 15% chance per movement to "bite," which drops your reeling progress by 15% and shrinks your Control bar by 8% for 1.5 seconds. The bite chance decreases by 1.5% per attack down to a floor of 7.5%, with a 10-second cooldown between bites.

Area shakes: Every 45–90 seconds, the entire area shakes. If you're mid-reel, this reduces your progress by 3%.

Both effects intensify during War Surge, as noted above. Rods with high resilience and control stats help offset the progress loss.

Royal Guard Quests and Unlocking Bellona's Waraxe

Three Royal Guard statues in the area each offer a quest. Completing all three — plus achieving 100% Bestiary completion — unlocks the ability to purchase Bellona's Waraxe for 5,000,000 C$.

Quest 1 — Return five Bellona Swords: Five misplaced swords are scattered around the area. Collect them and place them on the weapon rack near the large cave entrance. Finishing this quest opens a secret entrance that contains the Royal Helmet.

Quest 2 — Deliver the Royal Helmet: Pick up the Royal Helmet from the newly opened area and bring it to the second Royal Guard statue.

Quest 3 — Collect five Aegis Shards: This is the most involved quest. Two shards (Cracked Aegis Shard and Shattered Aegis Shard) sit on the ground. The Sunken Aegis Shard comes from regular fishing. The Bloodied Aegis Shard can only be fished up during a War Surge. The final piece, the Legionnaire's Aegis Shard, drops when you catch the Legionnaire Lamprey. The third Royal Guard only activates its quest during a War Surge — it glows red to signal availability.

Once all three quests are done and every fish is logged, a second door opens in the cave near the sword rack. Bellona's Waraxe is inside, available for purchase. Its stats include 65% Lure Speed, 150% Luck, 2 Control, and 40% Resilience.

Strong rods make a noticeable difference here, especially given the biting mechanic and the need for perfect catches during War Surge. The following rods are well-suited for completing the Bestiary efficiently:

RodWhy It Helps
Blade of GlorpHigh overall stats for consistent catches
Ice WrapersStrong resilience to counter progress loss from bites
No-Life RodExcellent for extended farming sessions
Brick RodGood control to handle the shrinking Control bar

For triggering War Surge quickly, prioritize any rod with a high disturbance stat. Once the event starts, you can swap to a rod better suited for perfect catches.

Bestiary Completion Rewards

Filling out all 12 entries in the Bellona's Frenzy of War Bestiary grants the Stone Claymore Bobber, 10,000 C$, and 50,000 XP. The Bestiary completion is also a hard gate for purchasing Bellona's Waraxe — you cannot buy the rod without it, even if all three Royal Guard quests are finished.

Bellona's Frenzy of War is the most straightforward of the six Wrath of Olympus layers. The single fishing pool and lack of season requirements keep things simple, but the War Surge dependency for both the Legionnaire Lamprey and the Bloodied Aegis Shard means you'll need patience — and a rod with decent disturbance — to wrap everything up.
