Firtrich, the tree-shaped ostrich Grass type in LumenTale: Memories of Trey, does not evolve from leveling alone. It changes into Pinouflage only when you meet a hidden level requirement and bring it to a specific place in Talea. The game flags this with a vague "Level +" note once you've scanned the creature enough times, which leaves out the two details that actually matter: how high its level needs to be, and where you have to take it.
Firtrich evolution requirements
Two conditions have to be true at the same time before Pinouflage becomes available. Missing either one will stop the evolution from triggering, even if the other is met.

The "Level +" wording you see after scanning Firtrich and reaching a higher research tier is the game's way of saying that hitting a level threshold is part of the trigger, but not the whole story. The extra criterion is the location.
Where the Area 11 clue comes from
The hint for the location is hidden in Altipetra, an eastern city near the volcano in the Mythos region. Inside one of the houses there's a drawing on display. It's dim, but you can make out Firtrich next to the text "Area 11," which points to combining the two for a new form.
The drawing doesn't spell out the level you need, which is why so many players reach Area 11 and find nothing happens. The level 37 minimum is the missing piece.
How to evolve Firtrich into Pinouflage
Step 1: Get Firtrich to at least level 37. If it's not there yet, battle wild Animon or rival Lumen in the area to gain experience.
Step 2: If you want to speed things up, cook food at a nearby Fountain and feed it to Firtrich. Recipes like Lampredino, Canerdeli, or Cotolino raise its level.
Step 3: Travel to Area 11 once Firtrich has reached the level threshold. There's no exact tile where the evolution happens, so simply being in the area is enough.
Step 4: Open your party menu and select Firtrich. A small yellow arrow will appear next to its icon, and selecting it gives you the option to evolve into Pinouflage.
How to confirm the evolution worked
The yellow arrow next to Firtrich in the party menu is your signal that both conditions are met. Once you select it and confirm, Firtrich changes into Pinouflage, a sleeker version of the same creature. If the arrow doesn't appear, the cause is almost always one of two things: Firtrich is below level 37, or you're not in Area 11. Fix whichever one applies and check the menu again.
