Evomon Evolution Items: Where to Farm Element, Evolution, and Omni Stones

Pin down the exact bosses, shops, and merchants that drop every stone you need to evolve your team.

Pin down the exact bosses, shops, and merchants that drop every stone you need to evolve your team.

Evolving a monster in Evomon comes down to three materials. You need Evolution Stones as the generic catalyst, Element Stones that match the monster’s type, and Omni Stones to fill in for any Element Stone you are short on. Each one has its own reliable farm, and knowing which stone you are missing decides where you should spend your time.

Quick answer: Defeat Summoned Bosses in Summon Ruins I, II, and III for a guaranteed Element Stone of that boss’s type. Buy Evolution Stones and Omni Stones from the Exchange Shop next to the Monster Summoner, and farm Island Bosses, the Traveling Merchant, Ascent Tower floors, chests, and the Battle Pass for extra stock.

What each Evolution Item does

Every evolution check asks for a level milestone, a number of Evolution Stones, and one or more Element Stones tied to the monster’s type. A dual-type monster needs two separate Element Stone types. Omni Stones are the flexible piece, and a single Omni Stone counts as one Element Stone of any type you lack.

ItemRoleNotes
Evolution StoneGeneric catalyst used by every evolution.Required on top of Element Stones; reserve these for monsters you plan to keep.
Element StoneType-specific stone matching the monster’s element.Higher evolution levels need more of them; dual types need two sets.
Omni StoneUniversal substitute for any Element Stone.Cannot replace Evolution Stones; one Omni equals one Element Stone.

As an example, a single-type Leafbun at level 35 needs 10 Grass Element Stones and 10 Evolution Stones. A dual Flying Electric Bluebird at level 70 needs 15 Flying Element Stones, 15 Electric Element Stones, and 30 Evolution Stones. The later the evolution level, the larger the cost.

Element Stones: Summon Ruins boss drops

The most dependable Element Stone farm is fighting Summoned Bosses inside the Summon Ruins. Defeating the matching boss gives a 100% drop of its Element Stone, so you can target the exact type you need. Use a Summon Ticket on the Monster Summoner NPC to call each boss, and farm more tickets by defeating Evomon anywhere in the world.

Summon Ruins I is geared toward level 45 and above. Reach it by using the teleporter device beside the boss monster at Verdant Valley. Element Stones also drop the first time you clear an area’s NPC Trainers, with the stone matching the region theme, and from Island Bosses at the end of each area. Repeat NPC clears only pay coins, so treat those as one-time pickups rather than a farm.

Evolution Stones and Omni Stones sources

Both of these come from the same set of repeatable and timed sources. The Exchange Shop and Island Bosses are the steadiest, while the rest add stock as you progress.

SourceHow it works
Exchange ShopBuy Evolution Stones and Omni Stones near the Monster Summoner using Exchange Tokens or Coins earned from Summoned Bosses. Stock refreshes weekly.
Island BossesThe boss on almost every island drops both stones. Switch here when the shop is sold out.
Traveling MerchantSpawns at camp posts near the teleporter and sells both stones for Coins. It moves and restocks on a timer.
Ascent TowerUnlocks at Player Level 28. Clearing floors awards stones, including 3 Omni Stones around floor 25.
ChestsOpening chests can give both stones, though the drop is rare.
Battle PassBoth tracks award Evolution Stones and Omni Stones as you level the pass.

Note: Omni Stones are far rarer than Evolution Stones, so save them for evolutions you are committed to. Player level-ups also hand out Evolution Stones at intervals and Omni Stones on rare occasions.

Earning Exchange Tokens for the shop

Teleport to Summon Ruins I and speak to the Monster Summoner NPC. Use a Summon Ticket to spawn a hostile Evomon.
Defeat the summoned monster to collect Exchange Tokens. Pebgolem, for instance, gives 20 Exchange Tokens per defeat alongside Coins and EXP.
Open the Exchange Shop next to the Monster Summoner and spend the tokens. Five Evolution Stones cost 10 Exchange Tokens, and you will need to wait for the weekly restock once you clear the stock.

How to spend stones on an evolution

Make sure the monster has reached its required evolution level. Each species evolves at a different milestone, and the starters all need level 35.
Tap the animal head icon in the upper-right corner, select the monster, then press the Evolve button in the lower-right.
Check the listed requirements for level, Evolution Stones, and Element Stones. If you are short on a specific Element Stone, use Complete Materials to slot Omni Stones into the missing spaces.
Confirm with the yellow Evolve button. The evolution goes through only when the level, Evolution Stones, and the full set of Element or Omni Stones are all met, and the monster changes to its next form on success.

Tip: Check the Evolve screen before spending tokens or buying anything. Omni Stones cover only the Element Stone side, so an evolution still stalls if you are short on generic Evolution Stones or the level requirement. For a clean Element Stone farm, run private servers on Island Bosses so other players cannot tag the boss first, and target the exact Summon Ruins boss whose type you need before burning a Summon Ticket.
