Learn how to use the Fuse Machine and pet mutations in Fake An Egg.

In Fake An Egg, the number of pets you can have at a time is limited by your pen. Each time you upgrade the pen, you can add one more pet, but the cost of upgrading gets incredibly high over time. You will not be able to add more pets if you’ve hit the maximum limit and do not have the cash to upgrade your pen. In such a situation, you might have to sell your low-tier pets that do not generate a lot of cash. But if you do not want to do that, you can use the Fuse Machine to fuse multiple pets together into a better pet. Additionally, the Fuse Machine can apply Mutations to your pets, further improving their cash generation.

Fusing Pets Using The Fuse Machine

The Fuse Machine is located near the shop where you sell pets. To fuse pets using it, follow these steps:

Before heading to the Fuse Machine, make sure you equip three pets from your pen.

When you reach the Fuse Machine, your equipped pets will automatically be placed inside it. You can also open the Fuse Machine dialog by using the E button.
With all three pets placed in the machine, click the Fuse button.
You will get a Fused Egg. Take it back to your base and place it there.

Applying Mutations and Traits

Mutations are bonuses that apply to eggs in Fake An Egg and may automatically be applied to eggs that appear randomly in the game. Rainbow, Diamond, and Gold are the three Mutations you might come across. Pets hatched from eggs with Mutations generate more income than their regular versions.

Mutations are different from Traits that you can actively apply when different Weather conditions are active. Traits also increase the income generated by pets based on weather events. While these events usually occur on their own, you can spend Robux by visiting the Weather Machine in the same row as the Pet Food shop to trigger them manually.

Interacting with the Weather Machine will show you different weather options you can activate and how much each one costs.

The Fuse Machine can be a handy tool when you have low-tier pets you don’t want to sell. Using it can provide you with a chance to get a better egg that might hatch into a higher-tier pet. Similarly, using the Weather Machine can help you take advantage of cash multipliers depending on your pets and which weather you trigger.
