Far Far West Canyon medallions: All four locations and the Pick Pick Joker reward

Far Far West Canyon medallions: All four locations and the Pick Pick Joker reward

The Canyon map in Far Far West hides a four-slot door that opens onto a cave packed with gold veins and an exclusive Joker. Four medallions are scattered across the map, each tied to a small puzzle. Collect them in a single run, slot them into the door, and the cave unlocks.

Quick answer: Grab Hawkeye's medallion from the safe on the west side (shoot all 10 blue targets), Bobby's from the cave at the north end (blast the glowing rocks with dynamite), Sweaty's from the dirt piles under the east bridge (shovel the far-right pile), and the Sheriff's from the cave entrance next to the secret door in the south-center. Insert all four to open the door.

All four medallions must be collected in the same run. Runs in Far Far West have no timer, so difficulty does not matter for this secret.

Hawkeye's medallion (Focus)

Head to the west side of Canyon and look for a safe with a counter that reads 10. Each number on the counter represents one bullseye target you need to shoot. The targets glow faintly blue and are scattered around the safe area, including on top of rock formations, behind wooden structures, near minecart tracks, beneath ziplines, and on the cliff faces.

Order does not matter, but a few targets only spawn after you hit others, so keep scanning the area as the counter ticks down. When the counter hits zero, the safe opens, and the medallion is inside.

If the counter is stuck at 1 or 2 after a sweep, the missing targets are usually high up against the dark blue sky or on the far ledges, where they blend into the background.

Bobby's medallion (Luck)

Travel to the northern point of the canyon and drop down to the bottom. You will find Bobby's body next to a crate of dynamite, with a tunnel sealed by glowing rocks. Pick up a stick, light it, and throw it at the blocked path.

One charge is not enough. Plan on around seven sticks of dynamite to clear the full route. Keep blasting until the path opens, then walk to the back to grab the medallion.

🧨
Light the dynamite before throwing it. Unlit sticks will not detonate against the rocks.

Sweaty's medallion (Greed)

On the east side of the map, ride the zipline down to the area beneath a small bridge. Sweaty's body sits next to a pile of shovels and several mounds of dirt. Pick up a shovel and start digging.

Some mounds contain skulls, others hold the medallion. The far-right dirt pile is the consistent spawn for the medallion, so dig that one first to save time.

Sheriff's medallion (Bravery)

Save this one for last because it sits right next to the door you need to open. Go to the cave above the south canyon, near the center of the map. The Sheriff's body is at the cave entrance with the medallion on him, and the four-slot secret door is just steps away.

Pick up the medallion, then walk to the door and insert all four. The door opens automatically once every slot is filled.

What's inside the secret cave

Opening the door gives you three things worth the detour:

RewardEffect
Pick Pick Joker5% chance on hit to spawn damaging pickaxes on the target. Takes up two Joker slots. A second copy can be bought from the shop for 300 Souls to stack the chance.
Elder PickaxesMultiple copies inside the cave. Mining speed is greatly increased while carrying one, useful for farming gold veins on the rest of the map.
Gold veinsSeveral veins inside the cave to mine immediately. Dynamite breaks veins faster than the pickaxe.

Order that works best

Run the medallions before triggering the boss. Once the boss dies, Canyon spawns infinite enemy waves, which makes the Hawkeye target hunt and the dynamite blasting much harder to finish cleanly.

Step 1: Start at the west side and clear the 10 Hawkeye targets while the area is quiet. This is the longest puzzle, so getting it out of the way first prevents wasted time later.

Step 2: Ride north to Bobby's cave and blast through the rocks with dynamite. Pick up the medallion at the back of the tunnel.

Step 3: Cross to the east bridge, take the zipline down, and dig the far-right dirt pile for Sweaty's medallion.

Step 4: Move to the south-center cave entrance, take the Sheriff's medallion, walk to the door, and insert all four. Loot the cave before continuing the rest of your run.

💰
The cave's gold veins plus the speed boost from the Elder Pickaxe make this one of the strongest gold farms on Canyon. Save the boss kill until after you have looted the cave and any other side objectives.
