The Grounds is the shared social hub in EA Sports FC 27 where Clubs, Rush, and a stack of mini-games now live. Four mentors sit inside it, and each one hands you a chain of objectives split into Foundations and three Milestone tiers. Clearing them feeds directly into the game’s trophy and achievement list, so anyone chasing the Platinum or full Gamerscore has to work through all four pathways.
Quick answer: Complete each mentor’s Foundations plus Milestone One, Two, and Three objectives. Individual tasks pay out coins or XP, and finishing a full group unlocks a cosmetic clothing item.

How the mentor milestone system works
Every mentor gives you one Foundations set followed by three Milestones. You earn a reward for each single objective you finish, and a separate Group Reward (usually a cosmetic top or outfit) once every objective inside a group is done. You claim these manually on the Objectives screen under the Mentors tab.
Ranked modes do not count toward the casual objectives. Playing Ranked Rush, for example, will not tick off Mbappé’s “Play Rush once” task. Stick to the casual version of whatever mode an objective names.
A handful of these milestones are tied to specific trophies and achievements. Here is which completion unlocks what.
| Milestone completed | Trophy / achievement |
|---|---|
| Alex Hunter Milestone 1 | Welcome to The Grounds |
| Alex Hunter Milestone 3 | Taking it to the Max |
| Chloe Kelly Milestone 1 | Exploring Kickabouts |
| Chloe Kelly Milestone 2 | Let’s Get Social |
| Chloe Kelly Milestone 3 | Kickabout Legend |
| Mbappé Milestone 2 | Group Effort |
| Mbappé Milestone 3 | Street Football Master |
| Dybala Milestone 1 | The Journey Begins |
| Dybala Milestone 3 | Club Legend |

Add to Google Preferences →Alex Hunter: general progression
Alex Hunter is your first mentor and introduces you to everyone else. His objectives are the broadest of the four, built around simply playing in The Grounds and leveling up your Archetype. Chloe Kelly: kickabouts and mini-games
You will find Chloe Kelly in Parkside. Her pathway is built around Kickabouts and the social mini-games scattered through The Grounds, including Drop Kick Targets. These are the least competitive objectives of any mentor, which makes them the cleanest to knock out early.

- Play 1 Winners Kickabout
- Drop Kick 5 Targets
Milestone One
- Win 3 kickabouts
- Play 7 high score kickabouts

Kylian Mbappé: small-sided matches
Mbappé’s pathway, based in Montclair, is all about the drop-in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 games around The Grounds. Queues can take a while even early on, but there is one thing worth knowing: if an opponent forfeits, the match still counts toward your objectives.
Foundations
- Play 1v1 once
- Play 2v2 once
- Play 3v3 once
- Play Rush once
Milestone One
- Score 16 goals in 1v1
- Assist 16 goals in 2v2

Paulo Dybala: Clubs and Rush
Paulo Dybala waits at the Clubhouse and handles the Clubs and Rush side of The Grounds. His objectives cover league and playoff matches, tournaments, and Rush played with clubmates. Individual tasks here mostly pay out coins or AMP rewards, with clothing granted for each completed group.
Foundations
- Play 1 Drop In 11v11
- Play 1 Rush Ranked
Milestone One
- Play 2 League or Playoff Matches
- Play 1 Tournament Match
- Play 3 Rush with Clubmates
Milestone Two
- Play 4 tournament matches
- Play 5 league or playoff matches
- Win 2 Rush with clubmates
- Win 1 league or playoff match
Milestone Three
- Play 10 league or playoff matches
- Match rating of 10 in Ranked Rush
- Win 4 3v3 with clubmates
- Win 5 2v2 with clubmates

Claiming rewards and confirming completion
Open the Objectives screen from the Grounds menu and switch to the Mentors tab. Each mentor’s groups show their tasks with progress counters, and a completed task displays a gift icon. Highlight it and press the confirm button to claim the reward shown on the right panel.
Once every objective inside a group reads as complete, the Group Reward on the right unlocks, such as a mentor-branded sweatshirt. When the milestone tied to a trophy is finished, the matching achievement pops automatically. Clearing all three Milestones for every mentor leaves only the standard progression tracking between you and the related portion of your trophy list.
A practical order is to clean up Chloe Kelly’s low-stakes kickabouts first, let Alex Hunter’s broad progression tasks accumulate as you play, then grind out Mbappé’s small-sided targets and Dybala’s Clubs requirements, which lean on winning matches with teammates.
