Maxence Lacroix’s Ones to Watch item is an 83 OVR Chelsea centre-back sitting at Level 7 of the Premium Season 1 Pass in EA SPORTS FC 27. It is not an SBC, not an Objective, and not something you can buy — the only way in is Season Pass progress, which means Season Points.

Quick answer: Buy or own the Premium Season 1 Pass, then earn 7,000 SP to hit Level 7. Stacking daily caps with Manager Live, Manager Career and Player Career objectives covers it in two days.

Unlock requirements for the Lacroix Ones to Watch item

Three conditions have to line up before the card lands in your club.

  • Access to the Premium Season 1 ladder — Lacroix is not on the Standard track.
  • 7,000 SP banked, which is the threshold for Level 7 on that ladder.
  • Progress made before Season 1: Ones to Watch ends on October 22, 2026.

Nicole Anyomi of London City Lionesses shares that Level 7 slot, so you get both items from the same push. Everyone playing Early Access already has the Premium Pass available.

Where the 7,000 SP comes from

Season Points are capped per day, so the plan is to max the daily allowance twice and pile the one-off objective rewards on top.

SP sourceRewardNotes
Daily SP cap1,700 SP850 SP per day, across two days
Player Career match objectives1,250 SP10 match objectives
Manager Career matches1,200 SPFive completed games
Manager Live Challenges1,000 SPThree challenges
Seasonal Objectives500 SPFive simple tasks
Smaller one-off objectives1,300 SPRoughly 100–250 SP each

The first five rows total 5,650 SP, which leaves a gap of 1,300 SP. Completing the Intro to Evolutions upgrade alone is worth 250 SP, and there are enough similar low-effort tasks to close the rest. Match play also feeds the daily pool — Division Rivals games pay between 15 and 100 SP each, which is the quickest per-minute return.

The Grounds also hands out SP for certain tasks. It is not needed for the two-day route, but it is a valid substitute if you prefer that mode.

Set difficulty and half length before you start

Use these settings across all of the routes: choose Beginner for difficulty, then make each half three minutes long. On Beginner, after you complete the requested objective, the AI can handle much of the remaining game, while three-minute halves bring the entire match to only a few minutes of real time.

Fastest SP routes, biggest payout first

Player Career match objectives (1,250 SP)

Start a Player Career with Carlos Espi. He begins as a substitute, which shortens each appearance while still giving you reliable chances to complete match goals.
Check the active match goals from the pause menu at kick-off so you know exactly what to chase once you come on.
Clear 10 match objectives in total. Once the goals for a given match are done, let the rest of the game play out on Beginner.

Manager Career matches (1,200 SP)

Start a Manager Career with any club and confirm the three-minute halves and Beginner difficulty carried over.
Play five games. There is no result requirement here — the reward is tied to completing the matches, so you can leave them running unattended.

Manager Live Challenges (1,000 SP)

Three challenges cover the full 1,000 SP, and these are the least demanding of the set.

  • Transfer Savvy — take over a big club and sell any player for $1,000,000 or more.
  • Winning Start — join a major side such as Arsenal and win three league games before the in-game date of Sept. 13.
  • Top at Christmas — sit top of the table by Christmas with the club you pick.

For the two league-based challenges, play the opening minutes, score a couple of goals to lock the win, then simulate to full time. Fixtures you are confident about can be simulated outright.

Seasonal Objectives and filler tasks (1,800 SP)

Five basic Seasonal Objectives — playing and scoring in matches in any mode — are worth 500 SP together, and they tick over while you work through the career routes above. The remaining 1,300 SP comes from the shorter objectives paying 100 to 250 SP apiece, with the Intro to Evolutions upgrade being the single largest of those at 250 SP.

How to confirm the card is yours

Open the Season 1 Premium ladder and check the Level 7 tile. Once the SP total crosses 7,000, the level marks as reached and the Lacroix item is delivered to your club. The card is untradeable, so it will appear in your club rather than on the Transfer Market, and it cannot be listed afterwards.

He is a right-footed centre-back with Lengthy AcceleRATE, 3-star weak foot, 2-star skills and a 190cm frame, carrying Long Ball Pass, Aerial Fortress, Intercept and Jockey PlayStyles. Standout numbers are 93 Sprint Speed, 85 Interceptions and 85 Standing Tackle. Like every Ones to Watch item, he launches with all Role++ options for his position.

The card keeps improving through the 2026/27 domestic season. Each qualifying Team of the Week, Player of the Month or Star Performer inclusion adds +1 OVR, and there is a separate one-time +1 OVR if Chelsea win three of their six domestic league matches counted from 18 September. Lacroix does not need to play in those games for the club condition to count, and only league results apply — cup, European and international fixtures are excluded.

That upgrade path is the real argument for spending two days on the SP grind rather than waiting. A defender who already clears 83 OVR with 86 Pace tends to hold a squad spot for weeks, and each live bump pushes that further into the season.
