FIND THE BRAINROT MORPHS: How to Get Crystal Toilet and ScarySmile

Exact locations for the Epic Crystal Toilet on the rainbow ramp and the Limited ScarySmile morph hidden in the Backrooms maze.

Exact locations for the Epic Crystal Toilet on the rainbow ramp and the Limited ScarySmile morph hidden in the Backrooms maze.

Two morphs sit at opposite ends of the map in FIND THE BRAINROT MORPHS, and both are picked up the same way as every other collectible in the game — you walk into them. Crystal Toilet carries the EPIC tag and sits out in the open on the main map. ScarySmile, the yellow grinning face players call Verity, is tagged LIMITED and only appears inside the Backrooms maze.

Quick answer: Climb the rainbow ramp on the main map and touch the Crystal Toilet resting on a wooden block beside a pickaxe, then enter the Backrooms and follow the yellow corridors to the smiley-face morph sitting on a block at a corridor dead end. Each pickup pushes your Collected counter up by one.

Both appear in the Morphs menu once collected, alongside the rest of your unlocked list. The menu is where you re-equip either one later, since you automatically transform into whatever you touch.

How to get Crystal Toilet on the rainbow ramp

Spawn into the main map area and get your bearings. You want the rainbow ramp, which is one of the more obvious traversal landmarks on the map.

Climb the rainbow ramp to its upper section. Keep moving along it rather than dropping off the sides, since the pickup is placed near the top.

Look for a wooden block with a pickaxe next to it. The Crystal Toilet sits on that block — walk into it and your avatar changes over immediately, with the morph’s own dance animation and music kicking in.

How to get ScarySmile (Verity) in the Backrooms

Head to the Backrooms area. This is a separate section from the main map, built as a maze of yellow walls and corridors.

Work through the corridors and check each dead end as you go. The maze loops back on itself, so pick a direction and stay consistent instead of doubling back at random.

Find the yellow smiley face perched on a block at the end of a corridor and touch it. That is ScarySmile, and picking it up transforms you on the spot with its own animation and track.

How to confirm the morph unlocked

Two things change the moment a pickup registers. Your avatar swaps into the morph and its music starts playing, and the Collected counter above your screen goes up by one — for example, from 168 / 175 to 169 / 175.

To double-check, open the Morphs menu. CrystalToilet appears with the EPIC tag and ScarySmile with the LIMITED tag, and both show an Equip option rather than a BUY prompt once they are yours. If a morph still shows BUY, you have not touched the pickup on the map yet.

Note: The Morphs menu is also where you switch back. Selecting a collected morph and hitting Equip re-applies it, and Reset returns you to your standard avatar.

Where these fit in the wider morph collection

FIND THE BRAINROT MORPHS runs on a straightforward loop. Morphs are scattered across the map and its hidden areas, you unlock them by making contact, and the counter tracks how far along you are toward the full set. Additions like Crystal Toilet and ScarySmile slot into that same list rather than requiring a quest or a purchase.

The Backrooms section is worth sweeping properly while you are in there. It is a common home for the rarer entries, and clearing corridors methodically tends to turn up more than one pickup per trip.
