Boat racing is the headline addition to the latest Fisch update, adding competitive tracks, Race Leader NPCs across several islands, and free boats and titles for finishing them. The fastest reward to chase is the Lighthouse Skiff, unlocked by beating the Moosewood course against the clock.
Quick answer: Talk to a Race Leader at Moosewood, Forsaken Shore, or Ancient Isle, pay the coin fee, and finish the track. Complete the Moosewood course in under 2m 10s to earn the Lighthouse Skiff.
How boat racing works in Fisch
Race Leaders now stand at docks on multiple islands. Speak to one, choose to practice solo or race other players, and steer through the marked course using your directional keys. Each track is lined with buoys, glowing rings, and guide markers, with a lap counter shown on screen.
The boost is the key mechanic. Press Q to boost when the meter is charged, and it recharges as you keep driving. Save it for corners and long straights to hold your top speed. Racing against other players costs a small coin fee, while practice runs are free.

Add to Google Preferences →Race Leader locations and GPS coordinates
Three tracks are the main draws, and each has a Race Leader at its dock. Additional Race Leaders also appear at Roslit Bay, Scoria Reach, and Snowcap Island.
| Track | NPC | GPS coordinates |
|---|---|---|
| Moosewood (near Daily Shop) | Race Leader | 295.6, 132.4, 53.5 |
| Forsaken Shore | Flint | -2606.2, 150.4, 1059.2 |
| Ancient Isle (SE edge) | Talon | 6380.9, 130.5, 361.8 |

Talon on Ancient Isle sits a little away from the Shipwright NPC on the southeast edge of the island, so look past the Megalodon spawn area to find the race start.
Redeem the VroomVroom code
The update ships with one active code, VroomVroom, redeemed through Menu > Settings > Codes for starter rewards including the Pancaked Flimsy Rod skin.
Unlock the Lighthouse Skiff at Moosewood
The Moosewood track is the best place to earn the Lighthouse Skiff because it runs only 2 laps and is shorter than the other courses. You need a fast boat to clear the time. Equip one that hits at least 280 p/s before you start.
Received Lighthouse Skiff! message confirms the boat is yours, and it appears in your Boats menu. The Lighthouse Skiff is a small skiff carrying a tall, working lighthouse. Its stats are modest, so treat it as a reward showpiece rather than a competitive racer.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Speed | 100 Sps |
| Steering | 100° |
| Acceleration | 0.25 Sps |
Titles and boats from every track
Each track hands out a title and a boat; at Moosewood the boat comes from the time trial. Completing all three gives you three boats and three titles.
| Track | Title | Boat reward |
|---|---|---|
| Moosewood | Cozy Cruiser | Lighthouse Skiff |
| Forsaken Shore | Scurvy Speedster | Blacktide Sailboat |
| Ancient Isle | Fossil Fueled | Primal Airboat |

Best boats to bring to a race
To clear the Moosewood time trial, bring a boat with strong speed, acceleration, and steering that clears the 280 p/s mark, such as Frostbite or Corruptor.
Other changes in the update
Racing isn’t the only addition: Stellarwave Melody Mastery and Rod of the Singularity Mastery offer new progression goals. The patch also adjusts rod and gauntlet balance and includes several quality-of-life fixes.
With three tracks to clear, three boats and titles to collect, and the VroomVroom code active, the racing content is the quickest way to add new boats to your garage before the next major update lands.
