Husk is one of the tougher mutations to chase in Fisch, not because the odds are bad, but because the gatekeeping is steep. It turns a fish light brown and translucent, and it lowers the sell value rather than boosting it. If you want it for a quest, a full mutation collection, or a specific Husk fish, there is exactly one path that gets you there.
Quick answer: Craft the Requiem Rod and keep fishing with it. The rod has a flat 20% chance to apply Husk on every fish you catch, and no other method reliably produces the mutation.
What the Husk mutation does
