Ford F-450 Platinum Forza Edition in Forza Horizon 6: How to get it

Ford F-450 Platinum Forza Edition in Forza Horizon 6: How to get it

The Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW PLATINUM Forza Edition is one of the more sought-after offroad trucks in Forza Horizon 6, sitting in the Unlimited Offroad class with a pre-tuned A 700 build, a lifted ride height, knobby tires, and an exclusive bed cap that doesn't appear on the standard F-450 Platinum.

Quick answer: The F-450 FE cannot be bought from the Autoshow. Acquire it through Wheelspins or Super Wheelspins, or by purchasing or bidding on a listing in the Auction House.

What the F-450 FE actually is

It is a 2020 pre-tuned variant of the standard Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW Platinum, classified as Unlimited Offroad and tagged as a Forza Edition rarity. The Forza Edition bonus on this truck is Destruction Skills, which feeds into skill chains when you smash through scenery.

The pre-tuned build runs at A 700 with all-wheel drive, a 6.7L turbocharged V8 making 968 hp and 1,815 lb-ft of torque, a 10-speed transmission, and a curb weight of 6,376 lb with a 55/45 front-to-rear distribution. Its in-game value is listed at 500,000 CR.

How to get the F-450 FE

There are only two routes into the garage for this one, and neither is guaranteed.

Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins. The truck is in the prize pool for both. Stack up Wheelspins through Car Mastery perks, Festival Playlist rewards, and daily play, then burn through them. Super Wheelspins have a higher chance of landing a Forza Edition vehicle than a standard spin.

Auction House. The F-450 FE can be listed by other players for buyout or bidding. Listings appear and disappear quickly because of how high demand is, so be ready to search and snap one fast. Some players have reported buying it for around 250,000 CR when the timing was right, while inflated listings can sit at several million credits without selling.

⚠️
You cannot buy this truck (or any player's car) directly from a car meet. Car meets only let you grab Autoshow vehicles and other players' tunes and liveries.

Tips for catching one in the Auction House

Persistence matters more than strategy. The truck rarely lingers at a fair price because buyers refresh search results aggressively. A few things that improve your odds:

  • Filter searches by Make (Ford) and Model (Super Duty F-450 DRW PLATINUM Forza Edition) rather than browsing by class.
  • Check the Auction House at off-peak hours for your region, when fewer players are sniping listings.
  • Set a credit budget before you start, so you do not overspend on a buyout that has been jacked up.
  • Bid on closing auctions instead of relying only on buyouts, which tend to vanish in seconds.

How you know you have it

Once acquired, the truck appears in your garage under Ford and shows the Forza Edition badge. The Destruction Skills bonus is active automatically whenever you drive it, so you will see skill multipliers stacking faster on environment hits compared with the standard F-450 Platinum.

If you spent Wheelspins or bought it from the Auction House and the truck is not in your garage, check the Messages tab for a delivery notification, since Auction House purchases sometimes route through there before the vehicle lands in your collection.
