Forsaken: How to Get Milestones

Milestone skins and emotes unlock at character levels 25, 50, 75, and 100 for every Survivor and Killer.

Milestone skins and emotes unlock at character levels 25, 50, 75, and 100 for every Survivor and Killer.

Milestones are Forsaken’s long-haul reward track. Instead of paying for a skin in the shop, you earn one by sticking with a single character until their level counter climbs high enough. The catch is that progress is per character, not account-wide, so a Level 47 Slasher does nothing for your Noob.

Quick answer: Level a single Survivor or Killer to 25, 50, 75, or 100 to unlock Milestone I through IV for that character, then equip the skin from that character’s Skins page in the lobby shop. Hitting Level 100 also completes that character’s entry under Survivor Milestones or Killer Milestones in the Achievements menu.

Milestone levels: What each tier requires

Every playable character, Survivor and Killer alike, uses the same four unlock points. The tiers are cumulative, so you keep everything you earned on the way up.

MilestoneCharacter level requiredApplies to
Milestone I25Survivors and Killers
Milestone II50Survivors and Killers
Milestone III75Survivors and Killers
Milestone IV100Survivors and Killers

Level 100 is the only tier that also fires an achievement. Those achievements sit in their own tabs and hand out cosmetics, including emotes such as “Sword Check,” “Mini Sentry,” and “Space Out.”

Check your milestone progress in the Achievements menu

From the lobby, open the Achievements menu. The header shows your overall completion count across all categories, so you can see how much of the 110-entry list you have cleared.
Switch to the Survivor Milestones or Killer Milestones tab. Each entry names the reward and the character it belongs to, with the requirement spelled out as “Reach Lvl 100” on that specific character.

Open the shop and select the character you are grinding. The level readout under their name shows both the current level and your exact EXP within that level, for example 15/570 EXP at Level 47.

How to level a character fast for milestone skins

EXP comes from doing your role’s job, not from simply being in a match. Dying in the opening minute cuts off your earning window for the round, which is the single biggest reason a grind feels slow.

RoleWhat to prioritiseEXP value
SurvivorComplete generator puzzles back to back15 EXP each
SurvivorLand character abilities that award EXP, then survive to the end of the roundVaries by ability
KillerSecure kills45 EXP each
KillerLand abilities that grant EXP on hit, and close out the round with a winVaries by ability

Because progress is locked to one character at a time, spreading matches across the roster stretches every milestone out. Pick one Survivor or Killer, use their abilities every round rather than saving them, and stay alive long enough to bank the round-end reward.

Equip a Milestone skin and confirm it unlocked

Return to the main lobby. Skins cannot be changed once a match has started.
Open the character shop and pick the character you levelled. Milestone skins are attached to that character only and will not appear anywhere else.
Choose the Skins option in the bottom-right corner. An unlocked entry such as “Milestone 1” will be selectable rather than locked, which is your confirmation that the tier registered.
Select the skin to equip it. Milestone skins are purely cosmetic and change appearance only, so there is no gameplay penalty or bonus for wearing one.

Note: If a skin does not show up after you cross a tier, leave the server and rejoin to refresh the interface. Double-check you are looking at the exact character you levelled, since the shop opens on whichever character was last selected.

New Killers and Survivors get added over time, and their milestone entries arrive with them, so the tabs grow with each roster update.

Legacy milestone skins and reworked designs

Some milestone skins have been redrawn since they first appeared. When that happens, the older art is treated as a legacy version and may not be available on the character’s Skins page, though redesigned or returning versions can show up in later updates. If you unlocked a tier before a rework, expect the current design rather than the one you originally earned.

None of this is required to play. Milestones are a prestige track, and the only way to move it is repetition on one character, one round at a time.
