Forsaken: How to Get Player Points

Player Points are the only currency that matters in Forsaken. They buy Survivors, Killers, Skins and Emotes, and they arrive in small chunks during a round rather than as one lump sum at the end. Every payout is tied to a specific action, which means the fastest way to build a balance is knowing exactly which actions the game pays for.

Quick answer: Play public matches and finish generator puzzles for 5 points each, then win the round for 40 points as a Survivor or 60 as a Killer. Points also come from kills, ability usage and character-specific plays, and can be bought with Robux in the Lobby Shop. Nothing is earned in private servers.

Base Player Points payouts every round

These rewards apply no matter which character you pick. They form the bulk of a normal match’s income, and they are the numbers to plan around if you are saving for a specific unlock.

ActionPoints
Win a round as Killer60
Win a round as Survivor40
Lose as Killer15
Kill a Survivor15
Survivor ragequits mid-chase15
Die as Survivor after surviving at least 60 seconds10
Heal a Survivor with Hemmorhage10
Complete an objective (one generator puzzle)5

Note: the ragequit reward also fires when a Killer leaves during a chase. It still displays as the Survivor ragequit message, but the chased Survivor is the one who gets paid.

Generators are the most reliable source of free points

Repairing generators is the one income stream that does not depend on winning, dodging well, or landing an ability. Every completed puzzle layer pays 5 Player Points, and a full generator takes several layers, so a Survivor who commits to objectives banks points steadily even in a losing round.

The repair itself is a connection puzzle rather than a hold-to-repair bar. You link matching dots across a grid without letting the wires collide, and each solved grid counts as one layer of progress on that generator.

Tip: leaving the puzzle wipes your progress on that layer, so a half-drawn grid is worth nothing. Take damage, walk away, or hit sprint and the wires reset from scratch when you come back.

One-time Player Points awards

Two payouts land only once per account, and the first one is the reason new players start with a usable balance instead of zero.

  • 300 points for joining a public server for the first time, granted through the Welcome To Hell achievement.
  • 1,000 points for owning every character in the game.

Character-specific Player Points for Survivors

Each Survivor pays out for using their kit correctly, and the amounts differ enough to change which character is worth grinding on. Support characters generally earn the most per successful play.

Builderman’s Sentry and Dispenser rewards are paid at the moment the build is destroyed, not while it is working, so a build that survives to the end of the round can pay out late.

Character-specific Player Points for Killers

Killer payouts follow a clean pattern. A basic ability hit is worth 4, a harder or higher-impact hit is worth 8, and a kill using the signature ability is worth 12 on top of the standard 15 for the elimination itself.

When Player Points do not get awarded

A handful of situations look like they should pay and do not. Checking these first saves you from assuming your balance is bugged.

  • Private servers. No Player Points are earned there at all. You can still spend and buy them, but every match is worth zero.
  • Kills through damage over time. The 15-point notification appears on screen when a Survivor dies to Burning, Bleeding or a similar effect, but nothing is actually added.
  • Actions that resolve after you die. Survivors stop collecting once they are eliminated or the round ends, so an ability that pays out on expiry gives nothing if the round closes first.

You can confirm a payout landed while the round is still running. Every reward flashes on screen as a short message with the amount in front of it, such as “5$: Stunned Killer as Shedletsky”, and the total updates on your balance once you are back in the Lobby.

Buying Player Points with Robux

The Lobby Shop has a Robux tab with eight bundles, and larger tiers give a slightly better rate per point. Bundles can be gifted to other players as well as bought for yourself.

500200
1,000400
2,000800
5,0002,000
10,0003,900
20,0007,600

Pricing has shifted between game versions, so treat these as the reference tiers and read the figures on the shop panel before confirming a purchase. Bundles are available in the game’s lobby.

For most players the practical route is simple. Stay in public servers, work generators whenever the Killer is elsewhere, and learn the two or three ability payouts on the character you play most, because those small 3-to-12 point drops add up faster over a session than a single round win does. Killers earn more per match on paper, but only when they close rounds out, so the character you are consistently good with will almost always out-earn the one with the bigger numbers next to it.
