Fortnite Batman Sprite: How to Get It and What It Does

The guaranteed drop from Coastal Catwoman, its Bat Cape effect, and every variant to chase in Chapter 7 Season 3.

The Batman Sprite landed in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 as part of the Hot Bat Summer event, and it is a Mythic that most players can secure with almost no luck involved. It swaps into your Back Bling slot like every other Sprite, but the payoff is mobility built straight out of Gotham.

Quick answer: Travel to Coastal Catwoman on the beach south of Wonkeeland, select the option to challenge her, and defeat her. She has a high chance of dropping the base Batman Sprite for you to grab.

What the Batman Sprite does

When equipped, the Batman Sprite lets you launch into the air from a jump and deploy the Bat Cape, giving you a glider-style redeploy in the middle of a match. It works much like the Batman Grapnel Gun Mythic, so you can reposition quickly, cross gaps, or break line of sight.

The launch goes on a short cooldown after each use, so you cannot chain it endlessly. Even with that limit, it sits among the more useful mobility Sprites this season.

Beat Coastal Catwoman for a guaranteed shot

The fastest and most reliable route is to fight the Catwoman NPC. She is the only fixed spawn tied to the Batman Sprite, which makes it arguably the easiest of the season’s Mythic Sprites to track down.

Head to the beach directly south of Wonkeeland, where Coastal Catwoman patrols. She is passive by default, so she will not attack on sight.
Interact with her and pick the option to challenge her. This turns her hostile and starts the fight.
Defeat Catwoman. She has a high chance of dropping the base Batman Sprite, which you can then walk over and collect.

You will know it worked when the Batman Sprite appears as loot on the ground after she goes down. Pick it up to equip it in your Sprite slot.

Every other way to find the Batman Sprite

Beyond Catwoman, several other sources can hand you the base Sprite or its Special variants. These lean on RNG, and because the Batman Sprite is Mythic, its drop rate is low, so treat them as backup routes.

Special Batman Sprite variants

Collectors have several rarer skins of the Sprite to hunt down, with more possible later in the season. The base version is the Mythic you get from Catwoman, while the Special variants carry their own look and drop odds.

How rare it is among Mythic Sprites

The base Batman Sprite is one of the rarest Sprites in the game and currently one of only six at Mythic rarity. The others are Grim, Zero Point, Burnt Peanut, Pollo, and Vini Jr. What sets Batman apart is that fixed Catwoman spawn, which removes most of the randomness the other five depend on.

Secure it with a Portable Extractor

Once the Sprite is in your hands, lock it in with a Portable Extractor rather than carrying it to a fixed Extraction Point. Outside of the Catwoman fight, these Sprites are hard to come by, and losing a Mythic at a contested extraction is not worth the risk. Using a Portable Extractor gets it into your collection safely so you can keep playing without worrying about a wipe.
