Three boss NPCs roam the Shattered Coast island in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Voidblade, Skeletor, and Wolfe each guard a powerful weapon drop, and beating one is the fastest way to grab a Legendary or Mythic gun plus a Chug Jug in a single fight. None of them spawn in a fixed spot, so the real challenge is tracking them down before another squad does.
Quick answer: A boss appears as soon as the first storm circle closes. Listen for the spawn sound and watch for a skull icon on the mini-map (it does not show on the full map). Drive a vehicle around the marked zones to find it faster, then use the loadout below for whichever boss you meet.
All boss spawn locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3
Bosses use a pool of randomized spawn points, so the same location can hold a different boss from match to match. Wolfe and Skeletor in particular tend to swap spots, which means finding the one you want comes down to luck and fast movement. Each boss only enters the map after the first circle finishes shrinking.

These are the spots where a boss can turn up:
- Among the trees north of Calamari Canyon
- North of Heatwave Harbor
- The Collider Corridor north of Calamari Canyon
- Near an Extractor Point northeast of Calamari Canyon
- East of the snowy stretch between The Battlewoods and Wonkeeland
- West of The Battlewoods
- Near the trees where The Battlewoods meets Zero Point
Landing at The Battlewoods and grabbing a car is the most efficient opening. You can sweep multiple zones and spot the skull icon on the mini-map much quicker than you would on foot.

Tip: Bosses do not open fire the moment they see you. They take a little time to get aggressive, but they will fight back instantly if you shoot first, so set up your angle before you start the engagement.
How to beat each boss and what they drop
Every boss carries a guaranteed Chug Jug and a chance at a Mythic version of their signature weapon. The right approach changes with each one, mostly around keeping distance and reading their movement.
| Boss | How to beat | Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Voidblade | Keep your distance to stay out of her sword range, and aim high since she leaps into the air often. Don’t let her line up a headshot while flying overhead. An SMG up close and a Chaos Exploder Rifle for range work well. | Legendary or Mythic burst assault rifle, plus a Chug Jug |
| Skeletor | He heals and restores his own shields, so you need fast, steady damage to outpace it. Use a high-capacity weapon like a burst assault rifle or SMG, and stay clear of his shotgun blasts, which hit hard on a headshot. | Legendary or Mythic Extending Focus shotgun, plus a Chug Jug |
| Wolfe | He moves extremely fast and can effectively teleport behind you to fire. Keep sliding and sprinting to dodge his shots and hold some distance from his shotgun. A shotgun, an SMG, and Seven Sliders help you match his speed. | Legendary or Mythic Maven Auto shotgun, plus a Chug Jug |

You’ll know the fight is won when the boss falls and drops its loot pool on the spot. Grab the weapon and Chug Jug right away, since the drop and the skull icon both pull other players toward your position.
None of the three are especially tough once you know their patterns, so the smart play is to arrive prepared with the right weapons and treat every boss kill as a quick gear upgrade. More bosses may join the roster in later updates, but for now Voidblade, Skeletor, and Wolfe are the names to listen for when that spawn sound plays.
