Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3: How to Unlock the Innovation Wings Glider

Complete 12 weekly quests across Weeks 7 through 11, covering the Week 9 objectives, to claim this glider style.

Complete 12 weekly quests across Weeks 7 through 11, covering the Week 9 objectives, to claim this glider style.

The Innovation Wings glider is a selectable style tied to Vanguard Slone’s Battle Pass set in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. It sits alongside Vanguard Wings and Lightwave Wings as one of three looks for the same glider, and it belongs to the Island’s Innovator set. Unlike the base glider, this style is earned through Battle Pass quest progress rather than a level or a V-Bucks purchase.

Quick answer: Complete any 12 Weekly Quests released during Weeks 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, then claim the Innovation Wings glider style from your locker.

Innovation set reward tiers and where the glider falls

Progress toward the Innovation rewards is counted as a single running total of completed Weekly Quests. Each milestone unlocks a different cosmetic, and the glider style sits at the 12-quest mark. You do not need to finish every quest to reach it, but you do need to clear at least 12 across the eligible weeks.

8Innovation Axe pickaxe style
12Innovation Wings glider style
16The Innovation (Helmet Off) style
20The Innovation (Helmet On) style

How the weekly quest unlock works

Only Weekly Quests count toward the Innovation total, and only those released in Weeks 7 through 11. Daily objectives and other challenge types do not add to the tally. New Weekly Quests appear every Thursday at 9 AM EDT, with each week typically offering a fresh batch in the Weekly Highlights section of the Battle Royale Quests tab.

Because the quests roll out gradually, the full 20-quest set cannot be finished until the Week 11 quests are live, which is August 13 at the earliest. The glider style needs just 12 quests, so it can be claimed sooner if you clear each batch as it releases. Missing a week’s quests reduces how many you have available and can push back your unlock.

Week 9 quests and how to finish them

The Week 9 batch adds five objectives that each move you closer to the 12-quest glider milestone. Here are the targets for each one.

Begin a match with a Variant Sprite equipped

Before you load into a match, equip a variant sprite such as the Gold Water Sprite in your loadout. As long as any variant sprite is active when the match starts, the objective completes on its own.

Upgrade your weapon at an Extraction Site

Land at an extraction site and find the Sprite Dust Services terminal. Sinister Strip is a reliable place to drop for one.
Interact with the terminal and spend Sprite Dust to upgrade a weapon. Moving a weapon from common to uncommon costs 250 Sprite Dust and counts for the quest.

Extract 20 Sprites

Head to Golden Grove, which is the strongest spot for gathering neutral sprites. Extract sprites there until the counter reaches 20. This can be spread across multiple matches, so you do not need to finish it in one drop.

Deal 250 damage with the Chaos Exploder Rifle without reloading

Get the Dark Voyager’s Chaos Rifle by defeating the Dark Voyager boss. The boss appears near the Zero Point or inside vaults, including the vault at Sinister Strip.
With the rifle in hand, damage opponents until you reach 250 total. The damage must be dealt without reloading, so keep firing on a full magazine and finish the count before you run dry.

Travel 750 meters while sliding

Equip the Seven Sliders or Limitless Seven Sliders boots, then slide down slopes to rack up distance. These items make the 750-meter total quick to reach.

Claim the glider and confirm the unlock

Once your completed Weekly Quest count from Weeks 7 through 11 hits 12, the Innovation Wings glider style becomes claimable. Return to the lobby and open the Innovation reward track, where the glider tier will show a Claim prompt. After claiming, the style appears in your locker under the Vanguard Wings glider as a selectable option.

If the reward does not appear, check that your progress bar reads at least 12 out of 20 in the Innovation quest menu. Only Weekly Quests from Weeks 7 through 11 add to this total, so daily quests and any objectives from other weeks will not move the counter. Clearing each week’s batch as it goes live keeps you on pace to reach the glider well before the final set closes out on August 13.
