The Override tab in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 now pays you back for Mastering Sprites. A Mastery track was added in a recent update, and it hands out XP, Sprite Dust, and Gizmos as you Master more Sprites. There are 14 rewards live right now, and more are set to arrive in a later update.

Quick answer: Master a Sprite by leveling it to Level 5 and then extracting it. Each Sprite you Master advances the track by one node, unlocking the reward tied to that number.

Every Sprite Mastery reward and how to unlock it

The track has 14 nodes. Each one gives either an XP payout, extra Sprite Dust, or a Gizmo. The reward unlocks the moment your total number of Mastered Sprites reaches the listed threshold, so the order below is fixed.

Sprites MasteredReward
140,000 XP
23 Cheat Code Locators
35,000 Sprite Dust
44 Spicy Tacos
540,000 XP
65,000 Sprite Dust
72 Portable Extractors
83 Extraction Accelerators
940,000 XP
103 Cheat Code Locators
115,000 Sprite Dust
122 Portable Extractors
1340,000 XP
142 Llama Supply Drops

Those payouts add up to four XP nodes, three Sprite Dust drops, and a run of Gizmos that speed up your matches. The Portable Extractors and Extraction Accelerators are the most practical pulls, since they make it easier to bank future Sprites and finish more Mastery nodes.

Note: Mastering a Sprite also cuts the Sprite Dust cost to resummon it in half, so working through the track pays off beyond the listed rewards.

How to Master a Sprite

Mastering is a two-part condition. First, get the Sprite to Level 5 during a match, then extract with it equipped so it counts. Most Sprites level the same way, but a few have their own rules.

Sprite typeHow it levels to Master
Most SpritesEarn Sprite XP by opening containers (including Cheat Codes), getting eliminations, or extracting other Sprites.
Klombo SpritesLevel only through consumables. Lower your health, then heal for the most XP — camp in the Storm or use the Stone Sanctum brazier and heal after taking damage.
Crown SpritesMaster only by winning a match with the Sprite equipped. Variants unlock in order: Base, then Cheat Master, then Gold, then Loot Hacker.

How to know a Sprite counted

A Sprite only registers as Mastered once you reach extraction with it at Level 5. If you leave the match early or the Sprite is not equipped when you extract, it will not tick the track. Check the Mastery track in the Override tab after the match to confirm the node unlocked and your reward landed.

Once you clear all 14 nodes, there is nothing left to earn on the current track. More Mastery rewards are planned for a future update, so keeping a steady stream of Sprites Mastered now means you collect the newer rewards the moment they go live.
