Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: How to Complete All Week 9 Quests in One Match

Equip a Sprite, land at an Override Console, and chain five tasks together for 100,000 Season XP.

Equip a Sprite, land at an Override Console, and chain five tasks together for 100,000 Season XP.

Week 9 of the Override season adds five seasonal quests to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, each worth 20,000 Season XP. Four of them can be finished inside a single Battle Royale match if you prepare correctly, and the fifth, collecting Rare or better weapons, usually lands in the same run or carries over to your next drop.

Quick answer: Equip a Sprite in the lobby, land at an Override Console with NPC guards, deal 250 damage before the first storm phase closes, extract your Sprite nearby, then farm Epic-weapon eliminations and search 10 containers at Nightmare Neighborhood or Wonkeland while you outlast 60 players.

Every Week 9 quest and its requirement

All five quests reward the same 20,000 Season XP, for a combined 100,000 XP toward the Override Battle Pass. Here is exactly what each one asks for.

QuestRequirementReward
Damage enemy players before the opening Storm Phase has fully closed250 damage (NPC guards count)20,000 XP
Outlast players after extracting a SpriteExtract a Sprite, then survive 60 eliminations20,000 XP
Search containers at Wonkeland or Nightmare Neighborhood10 containers20,000 XP
Take out players using an Epic-tier weapon or anything better7 eliminations with purple+ rarity20,000 XP
Pick up Rare-tier weapons or higher from defeated players15 dropped Rare, Epic or Legendary weapons20,000 XP

Containers count chests, ammo boxes, produce boxes, freezers and cash registers inside buildings at either named location. Epic (purple), Legendary (gold) and Mythic weapons all satisfy the “Epic or better” elimination quest, and Rare (blue) weapons and above count toward the collection tally.

Set up before you leave the lobby

The “Outlast players after extracting a Sprite” quest only begins tracking once you have extracted a Sprite you were already carrying, so you need one equipped before the match loads. Open the Override tab, go to the Sprites menu, and equip any Sprite you own. The Trick or Treat One Wish Willow Sprite works fine.

A Sprite will mark you on the map and push enemies back when you take damage, but that trade-off is worth it for two quests at once.

Land at an Override Console for the early damage quest

From the Battle Bus, open the map and mark an Override Console located near Nightmare Neighborhood. These structures spawn NPC guards such as NITE Grid Guards, and those guards count toward the 250 damage quest.

Land on the console structure and open the chest there to grab an early weapon. You need a gun in hand before the guards engage you.

Inflict 250 points of damage on NPC guards before the opening storm phase is completely shut. Guards can withstand plenty of hits, so a few will finish the quest without needing to find an actual player.

The timer matters here. Finish the 250 damage before the initial circle fully contracts, or the quest will no longer register the hits.

Extract your Sprite to start the outlast quest

Move to the nearest Extraction Site console and call an Accelerated Extraction crate, which costs 50 Gold. Hit the crate on its pad to extract your equipped Sprite. Extracting is what flips the “Outlast players after extracting a Sprite” quest into its counting state, so from this point on you simply need to stay alive while 60 other players leave the match.

If you cannot reach an Extraction Site, a Portable Extractor gizmo lets you extract your equipped Sprite from anywhere on the island, including inside the storm.

Farm Epic eliminations and weapon pickups together

The elimination quest and the collection quest overlap neatly. Pick up an Epic (purple) or better weapon from a chest or crate, such as an Epic Bonerattler SMG, then use it on every player or bot you fight. Each kill with that weapon counts toward the 7 eliminations, and the Rare or better guns your victims drop count toward the 15 you need to collect.

After each elimination, walk over the dropped loot and pick up any blue, purple or gold weapons before moving on. You can drop weapons you do not want afterward; what matters is that the pickup registers.

Search 10 containers at Nightmare Neighborhood or Wonkeland

Head into Nightmare Neighborhood (or Wonkeland) and open containers inside the buildings. Chests, ammo boxes, produce boxes, freezers and cash registers all count, and the houses here are packed with them, so hitting 10 only takes one or two buildings.

Because Nightmare Neighborhood sits beside the Override Console you dropped at, you can run this quest straight after the early-game damage and extraction without crossing the map.

Stay alive to finish the outlast count

The only quest that depends on the match lasting a while is outlasting 60 players after your Sprite extraction. Avoid unnecessary fights once your other quests are done, keep moving with the storm, and let the lobby thin out naturally. You do not need to win; you only need 60 opponents to be eliminated while you are still in the game.

How to confirm the quests completed

Each quest ticks up on the in-match quest tracker as you progress, and a completion banner with the 20,000 XP payout appears the moment a quest hits its target. Open the map’s quest log mid-match to check the Sprite outlast and container counts, or return to the lobby Quests tab afterward, where finished Week 9 entries are marked complete.

If a single run leaves you short on the 15 collected weapons, that quest carries your progress across matches, so you can top it off next drop. Week 9 quests remain available until Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on October 31st, 2026, giving you time to mop up anything the one-match route does not finish.
