Fortnite occasionally hands out redeemable codes for free cosmetics like emotes, sprays, and back bling, though these drops are far less frequent than most players expect. Epic Games ties most of them to specific milestones, collaborations, or early-access promotions rather than a regular schedule, which is why long stretches pass with nothing new to claim.

Active Fortnite codes right now

There are no active Fortnite codes available at the moment. Every code that has circulated so far has already expired, and Epic Games has not published a new redemption code for July 2026. No official next code drop date has been confirmed, so avoid any site or video claiming to have a “leaked” batch ahead of an announcement.

Codes like these are separate from V-Bucks. Epic Games has never distributed free V-Bucks through a redeemable code, so any code, video, or website promising V-Bucks in exchange for a code is not legitimate.

How to redeem a Fortnite code

The redemption process is identical across PC, console, and mobile because it happens through your Epic Games account rather than inside the game client itself.

Go to the Fortnite code redemption page and sign in with your Epic Games account credentials.

Type the code exactly as written into the “Enter Access Code” field. Codes are case-sensitive, so copying and pasting rather than typing them out reduces the chance of a mistake.
Click Redeem. A successful code triggers a confirmation prompt that names the item you’re about to receive.
Click Activate to add the item to your account, then launch Fortnite and log in.

Once the code has gone through, the reward shows up in your Locker, or on the Quest rewards screen for items tied to a challenge, the moment you load into the game.

Why codes are rare and where new ones get announced

Most Fortnite codes tie into a limited promotion, such as a chapter launch giveaway capped at a fixed number of redemptions, or a brand partnership tied to a livestream or event. Once the cap is hit or the promotion window closes, the code stops working for everyone, even players who never got the chance to try it.

New codes typically surface through Epic Games’ official Fortnite social accounts or in-game announcements rather than through third-party leaks. Checking the game’s own news feed after logging in is the most reliable way to catch a new code the moment it goes live.

Bookmarking a working code and trying to redeem it right away is worthwhile once one does appear, since caps and time limits mean the window to claim a reward can close quickly.
