Steal An Egg Angels vs Demons Update: Every New Animal and Egg

Update 4 adds a nightly Angels or Demons biome, 16 new animals, and the Luminous Egg.

Update 4 adds a nightly Angels or Demons biome, 16 new animals, and the Luminous Egg.

Update 4 turned the far edge of the map in Steal An Egg into a coin flip. Every night, a brand-new biome rolls into either Angels or Demons, and each side carries its own set of eight animals, its own eggs, and its own Divine-rarity headliner. It is the furthest area from the safe zone, which makes it endgame territory rather than something you wander into early.

Quick answer: Build at least 20 billion Speed, wait for night, then check which version of the new biome spawned. Grab Angel Eggs for Light animals or Demon Eggs for Darkness animals, and carry them back to your base before the guardian catches you.

How the biome switches between Angels and Demons

The new area is not static. Each in-game night it has a chance to transform, and whichever side wins decides which eight animals are stealable until the next roll. Demons bring the Darkness lineup, Angels bring the Light lineup, and the eggs on the ground change to match.

The run out to the new biome starts from the safe zone and ends at the furthest point on the map.

There is also a rarer outcome. A secret Merged Biome can appear, putting both factions on the map at once so Angel Eggs and Demon Eggs are collectable in the same window. Extra luck is active for as long as the merged state holds, which makes it the best possible night to be online.

Speed requirement to reach the Angels and Demons biome

Distance is the real gate here. Because the biome sits further out than anything else, a minimum of 20 billion Speed is the working recommendation for stealing an egg and getting it home without the guardian landing a hit. Below that, the trip is mostly a donation to the guardian.

Movement controls stay on screen during the run, including the Slow Mode toggle for tight corners.

Speed comes from treadmills, coils, and trails. Grinding the base treadmill works, but the fastest single source is the Admin Treadmill that developers drop during Admin Abuse events, which runs at a far higher multiplier than anything you can buy. Stacking Boss Shop boosters such as the Treadmill Booster and the 1.25x Speed buff before a long treadmill session speeds up the climb.

Tip: check your Speed stat before committing to the run rather than after. If the guardian is clipping you on the way back, you are under the threshold, not unlucky.

Every Light and Darkness animal in Update 4

Sixteen animals arrived in total, split evenly across the two factions and mirrored rarity for rarity. Each side tops out with a single Divine pet, so the World Burner and the ArchAngel are the chase targets depending on which way the night flips.

Stolen eggs still have to be placed at your base and grown before they hatch, so the steal itself is only half the job. Once an egg is ready, the Open button appears on it in the Growing Eggs panel.

Luminous Egg replaces the Monster Egg

The Monster Egg is gone from the Robux Store, and the Luminous Egg has taken its slot. It behaves the same way its predecessor did, including a rare chance to re-roll on hatch and hand you a Luminous variant of the animal instead of the standard version.

An egg that has finished growing shows an Open button; the variant roll happens at that moment.

You will know the re-roll triggered because the hatch resolves into the Luminous version of the pet rather than the base one. There is no separate unlock or toggle for it.

Secret shrine hidden in the new biome

A secret shrine is tucked somewhere inside the Angels and Demons biome, teased through the Demons side. What it awards has not been spelled out, so finding it is the whole task for now. Expect to sweep the area on foot between egg runs rather than trigger it from a menu.

Sweeping the biome on foot is the only way to turn up the shrine, and the Index button tracks what you have already collected.

New treadmill, trail, and base upgrade

Three smaller additions directly feed the trip out to the new biome. A new Treadmill tier and a new Trail tier both push Speed higher, with the Moonbloom Trail sitting at the top of the Trail Shop. On the base side, another Base Upgrade unlocks, letting you equip one more pet than before.

The extra pet slot is worth buying early. More equipped pets means more income per second, which pays for the treadmill and trail purchases that get you past the 20 billion Speed line.

When Update 4 released

Angels vs Demons rolled out on September 12, 2026, following Update 3’s Rifts on September 5 and Titan Temple before that. The accompanying Light vs Darkness event window on the game’s Roblox listing runs into September 13.

Everything from the earlier updates still applies alongside the new biome. Rifts keep opening every 30 minutes with the Abyss Overlord and its Boss Shop, Rift Banners still rotate every three hours on a globally synced timer, and the Great Bloom continues in the Cherry Blossom Biome. Those systems are where the Fractured Mutation and the Bloom mutations come from, and mutated Angel or Demon Eggs are the fastest way to turn a single steal into a serious jump in income.
