Fortnite Festival: How to Get the Lil Tecca Skin (Season 15 Icon)

Both Lil Tecca outfits, every cosmetic, and the exact Season 15 launch time across major time zones.

Both Lil Tecca outfits, every cosmetic, and the exact Season 15 launch time across major time zones.

Lil Tecca headlines Fortnite Festival as the Season 15 Icon, and his crossover brings two separate outfits plus a full run of pickaxes, a Back Bling, a guitar, an emote, and four Jam Tracks. There are two routes to the skins, and which one you pick decides which outfit you unlock.

Quick answer: Buy the Neon Dreams Music Pass (1,200 V-Bucks) to unlock the music-reactive Tour Ready Lil Tecca Outfit, or buy the standard Lil Tecca Outfit with the Ransom Toon alt style directly from the Item Shop. Both go live on July 30, 2026.

Release time: Thursday, July 30, 2026, 5:00 PM PT

When the Lil Tecca crossover goes live

The crossover arrives with Fortnite Festival Season 15 alongside the v41.30 update. Both the Music Pass and the Item Shop cosmetics appear once the season starts and the shop rotates on July 30. Here is the launch converted to major time zones.

Epic has not confirmed an exact end date for Season 15. Festival seasons typically stay active for several weeks before the next Icon takes over, so the Music Pass rewards remain claimable throughout that window.

Route 1: Neon Dreams Music Pass (Tour Ready outfit)

The Tour Ready Lil Tecca Outfit is exclusive to the Neon Dreams Music Pass and cannot be bought on its own. The Pass costs 1,200 V-Bucks, and Fortnite Crew subscribers get it at no extra cost. Working through the Pass also unlocks the Mic Mace Pickaxe, Tecca’s World Back Bling, and the Dopamine Tour-inspired Guitar.

Launch Fortnite and open the Festival tab from the main menu.
Select the Neon Dreams Music Pass and purchase it with 1,200 V-Bucks, or claim it automatically if you have an active Fortnite Crew subscription.
Earn Pass levels by playing Festival tracks to unlock the Tour Ready outfit and its matching cosmetics. The outfit is reactive and responds to music and eliminations during play.

Route 2: Item Shop (standard Lil Tecca outfit)

If you would rather skip the Pass, the base Lil Tecca Outfit sells in the Item Shop and includes the Ransom Toon alt style built in. The rest of the shop cosmetics can be bought individually.

Open Fortnite and head to the Item Shop from the lobby.
Find the featured Lil Tecca section. As the Season 15 Icon, his lineup is placed prominently once the shop rotates on July 30.
Select the Lil Tecca Outfit to get both the base look and the Ransom Toon style. Add any extras you want, then confirm the purchase with V-Bucks.

Missing the shop rotation is not the end of it. Item Shop skins cycle back over time, while the Music Pass stays available for the length of the season.

Every Lil Tecca cosmetic and how to unlock it

Below is the full lineup split by where you get it. Epic has not published a final price sheet for the individual Item Shop pieces, so the V-Buck figures for those items are estimates based on past Icon Series drops. The Music Pass price of 1,200 V-Bucks is confirmed.

A bundle that packages the shop cosmetics together is likely, following how earlier Icon drops were priced. If it appears, expect it to sit around the 3,000 V-Buck range.

The four Lil Tecca Jam Tracks

Season 15 adds four Jam Tracks you can perform solo or with friends. Once unlocked, they join the wider Festival library and can be mixed with other artists’ songs in your setlist.

  • Ransom
  • Dark Thoughts
  • Love Me
  • 500lbs

The Dark Thoughts Emote sold in the shop flashes in sync with the beat, tying the cosmetic side back to the setlist.

How to confirm your unlock worked

After buying the Music Pass, the Tour Ready Lil Tecca Outfit and its rewards show as claimable tiers in the Pass track. As you level up, each item moves into your Locker under Outfits, Pickaxes, and Back Bling. Item Shop purchases land in the Locker straight away once the transaction completes.

If the Lil Tecca section is not showing yet, the most common reason is timing. The cosmetics only populate after the season starts and the Item Shop rotates at the July 30 launch, so anything checked before that window simply will not be there. Give it a moment past the release time and refresh the shop.

Lil Tecca follows Laufey as the Festival headliner, and he has spoken about starting to rap while playing Fortnite with friends, which makes the crossover a neat full-circle moment. Whichever route you take, jump into Festival on July 30 and work through the Neon Dreams Pass before the season rotates to the next Icon.
