Batman and a lineup of Gotham villains have taken over the Fortnite island for a beach-themed run called Hot Bat Summer, and the whole thing is built around six questlines that hand out free cosmetics. The headline prize is the Zap-Brella glider, but there are seven free rewards in total, and each one is tied to a specific set of challenges.
Quick answer: Complete any four quests inside all six Hot Bat Summer questlines (24 quests total) to unlock the Zap-Brella glider. Each questline also gives its own reward the moment you finish four of its six quests, so you never need to clear every single challenge.
Every Hot Bat Summer reward and how to earn it
There are seven free rewards across the event. Six come from finishing four quests in a single questline, and the seventh — the Zap-Brella — requires four quests in all six lines combined.

How the weekly unlock system works
The six questlines don’t all appear at once. Each set is locked behind the one before it, so you have to finish four quests in the current line to open the next. The event as a whole runs until August 20, 2026, which lines up with the end of Chapter 7 Season 3.

Because you only need four of the six quests in each set, you can skip the two hardest challenges in every line and still progress. That skip does not cost you the Zap-Brella either, since the glider only counts four completions per line.

Embrace the Bat quests
This is the final line, and it unlocks on August 18. Clearing four of these quests hands over the Mythic Batman Sprite and closes out the six-line total needed for the Zap-Brella.

A fast route to clear multiple quests in one match
Several of the combat and vehicle challenges can be knocked out in a single drop if you plan the run around Frosted Flats and the map’s dueling NPCs.
How to confirm a reward unlocked
Each questline reward drops into your Locker the moment your fourth quest in that line ticks over. The Zap-Brella appears once four completions are logged across all six lines, so it lands after you finish the Embrace the Bat set. If a reward isn’t showing, check that you actually cleared four quests in the correct line rather than four scattered across different sets — line rewards only count quests from their own group.
Note: Because the questlines gate each other and the final set opens on August 18, leaving everything until the last days is risky. With the event closing on August 20, working through the earlier lines now keeps the later ones from bottlenecking your run at the Zap-Brella.
