The Starshadow Voidblade is a golden bonus style for The Voidblade outfit, tied to this season’s Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. You can’t earn it through normal challenges or by leveling up. It is linked to gifting the Battle Pass, and Epic has since extended it to anyone who already owns the pass.
Quick answer: Own this season’s Battle Pass (Fortnite Crew counts) or gift the Battle Pass to a friend, and the Starshadow Voidblade style plus its matching accessories are added to your Locker. It is only claimable until Wednesday, August 19th, 2026.

What the Starshadow Voidblade set includes
The reward is a full matching set built around the same cosmic gold design, not just a single outfit style. Claiming it grants everything below at once.
| Cosmetic | Type |
|---|---|
| Starshadow Voidblade | Outfit style |
| Blade of the Cosmic Shadow | Back Bling |
| Blade of the Cosmic Shadow | Pickaxe |
| Starshadow Voyager | Glider |
Get it by owning the Battle Pass
This is the simplest path. Epic is granting the Starshadow style and its accessories to every player who already owns Chapter 7 Season 3’s Battle Pass, including active Fortnite Crew subscribers. There is no extra action required on your part.
If you own the pass and don’t see the items yet, they roll out to Lockers over a short window rather than all at once. Check back after restarting the game.

Get it by gifting the Battle Pass
If you don’t own the pass, or you want to send one to a friend, gifting also unlocks the set. When you gift this season’s Battle Pass, both you and the person receiving it get the Starshadow Voidblade rewards.
Gifting costs 800 V-Bucks, roughly $8.99. That price covers the friend’s full Battle Pass, and the Starshadow set is added to your Locker as a bonus for sending it.

Deadline to claim the Starshadow Voidblade
The reward is available until Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, when Chapter 7 Season 3 ends. After that date, the gifting method goes away entirely. Epic sometimes returns older cosmetics to the Item Shop later, but there is no confirmation that the Starshadow set will come back.
How to confirm it worked
Open your Locker and check The Voidblade outfit’s selectable styles. When the reward has been applied, the Starshadow Voidblade style appears as an option alongside the standard styles, and the Blade of the Cosmic Shadow Back Bling and Pickaxe plus the Starshadow Voyager Glider show up in their respective categories.
If the items are missing after you qualify, the most common reasons are simple. You gifted or own the pass, but the grant is still rolling out, so give it time and relaunch. Or the friend you tried to gift already owned this season’s Battle Pass, which means the gift could not be sent. Epic confirmed the grant in its official Fortnite Status post announcing the Starshadow style for gifting or being gifted the pass.
Whichever route you take, the outcome is the same complete set. Owning the pass is the no-cost option if you already have it, while gifting is worth it if you were planning to buy a pass for a friend anyway before the season closes.
