Everything happening across the August 31 to September 5 Override schedule, from doubled Sprite Dust to three new Sprites and Power Hours.

The Fortnite Override season runs on a weekly rhythm of themed events, and the stretch from Monday, August 31 to Saturday, September 5 packs three of the big ones: Cheat Code Day, Update Day, and Power Hours. Each brings a specific set of bonuses, drops, or new content, so knowing which day does what lets you plan when to grind Sprite Dust, when to hunt for new Sprites, and when to chase 1UP tokens.

Quick answer: Log in Monday, August 31 for 2x Sprite Dust and 2x Level XP; jump back in Thursday, September 3 for three new Sprites, two new overrides, and fresh loot hacks; and return Saturday, September 5 at 2 PM Eastern for Power Hours with the Cheat Master Klombo Sprite and extra 1UP tokens.

Cheat Code Day (August 31)

Monday’s event doubles two of the most useful resources in the season. You earn 2x Sprite Dust and 2x Level XP for your Sprites, which speeds up both your loot hack budget and your Sprite leveling. Cheat Codes also spawn more frequently across the Island, so it’s the best day to farm the hidden codes tucked into POIs and sprayed on walls to free Sprite allies.

Because Sprite Dust fuels loot hacks, stacking a session on this day gives you a larger pool to spend later in the week when the new hacks arrive.

Update Day (September 3): new Sprites, overrides, and loot hacks

Thursday is the content drop of the week. Three new Sprites join the collection: Rice Cake, Laser, and Eternal Knight. Alongside them, two new overrides go live, Lego Big Head and Arcade, which change match rules the way every Override Console does once claimed.

Update Day also adds fresh loot hacks, including the Deadeye Assault Rifle, the Golden Banana, and the Rocket Ram. These are the items you can force into your own Chest drops by spending Sprite Dust ahead of a match.

How to set up a loot hack

From the Battle Royale lobby, open the Override tab in the main menu. This is where all your Sprite Dust spending options live.

Select Loot Hack, then choose the weapon or item you want to hack into your Chest drops.
Spend Sprite Dust to unlock the item and upgrade its Chest drop rate. Hacked items then have a chance to appear when you open Chests, unique to the boosts you configured.
If you want to reshuffle your setup, use Reset All Upgrades to refund the Sprite Dust you spent, so nothing is permanently locked in.

Note: The same Update Day also delivers the Chapter 1 Season X OG Pass, which brings remixed skins such as Ultima Knight.

Power Hours (September 5)

Saturday’s Power Hours starts at 2 PM Eastern Time. The window features increased 1UP token spawns, an extra Portable Extractor to help you collect Sprites, and the Cheat Master Klombo Sprite. It’s the best window of the week for finishing power-up-related objectives quickly.

The Meowscles “Acquire Power Ups” quest lines up neatly with this event. Because 1UP tokens spawn more often during Power Hours, you can knock out the quest’s requirement in fewer matches than you would on a normal day.

You’ll know the quest is done when the tracker reaches 8/8 and the objective marks as complete in the Quests tab.

Sprite gifting and Support-A-Creator

Sprites can be gifted to subscribers during Sunday livestreams at 9 AM Eastern Time. Gifted Sprites land in your collection and show up in the Override menu’s Sprites tab alongside the ones you catch in matches.

To support a creator, open the Item Shop, find the Support-A-Creator field, and enter the code NOOBNOOBFRUIT before making a purchase. The code stays applied until you change it.

If you want to get the most out of the week, treat Cheat Code Day as your resource-building session, save your Sprite Dust for the new loot hacks that arrive on Update Day, and set an alarm for the Saturday Power Hours window to clear the Meowscles quest and grab the Cheat Master Klombo Sprite.
