Fortnite Sprite Chest Locations and the Fastest Farming Route (Chapter 7 Season 3)

Sprite Chests are the fastest way to build out your Sprite collection in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, and the catch is that they spawn at random across a wide set of fixed points. Knowing where every potential spawn sits, then running a route that strings the densest cluster together, is the difference between an empty match and one where you walk away with a rare Zero Point or even a Gold Sprite.

Quick answer: Land on the southern edge of the map near Lifty Lodge, turn on Visualized Sounds, play Zero Build for the recurring Shockwave Grenade, and loop through the southern chest cluster from Lifty Lodge to The Battlewoods to Wonkeeland. Not every marked point spawns a chest in a single match, so move on the instant a spot is empty.

How Sprite Chest spawns work

Sprite Chests sit at a set of fixed potential spawn points spread across the Chapter 7 Season 3 map. Only a random selection of those points is active in any given match, so the full map of locations is a list of possibilities rather than guarantees. The spawn density is high enough that a planned route can still hit several active chests before the storm forces you to rotate.

Every Sprite in the season can drop from a Sprite Chest, including the rarest pulls like the Zero Point and the ultra-rare Gold variants. Each chest also gives a normal loot item when opened, which makes them worth stopping for even if the Sprite roll is common.

Note: In bot lobbies, only Water, Fire, and Earth Sprites appear after a hotfix, so don’t farm those modes if you’re chasing rarer types.

Settings and mode to use before you farm

Two adjustments make chest hunting far more reliable. Turn on Visualized Sounds in your settings so the HUD flags a directional indicator whenever you’re near a Sprite Chest. This matters most in areas with heavy terrain, where scanning by eye alone will cause you to run straight past an active spawn.

Play in Zero Build. You get a Shockwave Grenade every 30 seconds, which lets you cover the distance between chest points much faster than running. Spend those grenades on movement rather than saving them for fights, since speed is what lets you clear more of the route before the circle closes.

Tip: Mondays trigger the Mastery Monday event, which increases your chances of hitting Legendary and Mythic Sprites. If you want the best odds on rare pulls, farm on a Monday.

The most efficient loop stays in the southern half of the map, where chest points sit closest together. Start on the perimeter, work inward, and aim your final stops toward the safe zone so the storm carries you in the right direction instead of cutting you off.

Drop on the small two-house island just east of the Lifty Lodge POI. In the basement of the greenhouse, there’s a Rare Vault holding a Sprite Chest, which needs a Rare Vault Key to open. Grab the second potential chest outside the easternmost building before you leave.\

Head west into Lifty Lodge and check the larger building in the northern part of the POI for another chest spawn. Then move south to the ski lift just below that building, where a chest can sit up on the roof.
Continue south to the lone launch pad on the mountain. A chest can spawn right next to it. Use the launch pad to jump into The Battlewoods POI and search the cross-shaped building in the southern section for another potential spawn.

Leave The Battlewoods heading northeast toward the forest with the Battlewoods sign. A chest can sit behind the tree in the middle of the sign. From there, push to the building northeast next to the tunnel, where another chest can appear on the roof.
Climb the mountain east of that last building. At the summit, you’ll find a launch pad and another chest spawn. Open it, then launch east toward Wonkeeland. South of Latte Landing and west of Wonkeeland, look for a ramp with a Sprite Chest tucked underneath.
Finish by heading south of that ramp to the transformer southwest of Wonkeeland. A final chest can spawn along the wall that surrounds it.

Why a marked chest might not be there

If you reach a marked point and find nothing, the spawn simply rolled inactive for that match. The randomization is per-match, not per-area, so re-searching the same spot won’t make a chest appear. Move straight to the next stop instead of wasting time.

You’ll know a stop paid off when the chest opens and drops a Sprite alongside a standard loot item. The Visualized Sounds indicator is the most dependable confirmation that a chest is genuinely active nearby, more so than scanning the terrain by sight. Run the southern loop end to end and, as long as the storm doesn’t pull you out early, you’ll clear the densest concentration of Sprite Chests on the map in a single match.
