The Phantom Thieves finally have a date. Epic Games is dropping Persona 5 Royal into Fortnite with two Outfits, a Morgana Sidekick, a Morgana-shaped car, and a matching reward track on the Rocket League side. Everything is cosmetic, everything sits in the Item Shop, and the full decrypted lineup is now clear.
Quick answer: The collaboration goes live with the Fortnite Item Shop reset on September 25, 2026 at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. Joker and Ann are sold individually and as a bundle; buying either character includes the Morgana Sidekick.

When the drop goes live in your region
The Item Shop refresh happens at a single worldwide time, making the new content available everywhere simultaneously. In much of the world, that moment falls on September 26. Epic’s teaser announces that a change of heart is coming on September 25th and includes the Atlus and Sega copyright line.

Joker and Ann: the two Persona 5 Royal Outfits
This wave contains two Outfits and one Sidekick, all filed under the Gaming Legends Series and tagged “Part of the Persona 5 Royal set.” That is a tighter roster than many hoped, leaving out Ryuji, Makoto, and Futaba. Epic has not confirmed a second wave, so Joker, Ann, and Morgana are the complete launch selection. Neither Outfit ships with a Lego Fortnite variant.
Joker (P5R)
Joker leads the collection. He carries edit styles for his Phantom Thief gear with a Mask On/Off toggle, plus a Ren Amamiya school uniform look that includes Glasses On and Glasses Off options. He also has a built-in transformation emote that shifts him between the Ren and Joker styles mid-match, mirroring the mask-ripping summon from the RPG.
Ann Takamaki / Panther (P5R)
Ann arrives as Panther in her red catsuit with a Mask On/Off toggle, and she carries a second style based on her Ann Takamaki school uniform. Her signature dance, Panther’s Showtime, comes attached to the Outfit set.
Morgana Sidekick and its unlockable rewards
Morgana cannot be equipped as an Outfit; he is a small companion in the Sidekick category who follows your character. He is included with purchases of Joker or Ann, not offered separately, and also works in Lego mode. Sidekick progression unlocks additional rewards.

The Morgana Sprite is a separate item centered on gameplay, and it has been available since the v42.20 update. It boosts the potency of healing items when equipped. Gathering additional Sprites increases that bonus in steps of +15%, 30%, 50%, and 75%, with max level granting 100%.
The Mona Car and vehicle cosmetics
Morgana’s bus form becomes the Mona Car, a vehicle body with its own customization. You can change its base paint colors, and it sports a cat-tail exhaust. The wider vehicle set spans several wheels and decals.

Firing with either the Joker’s Eyes or Panther’s Eyes wrap activates reactive, comic-book cut-in graphics. Also keep two quirks in mind: the Silver Dagger pickaxe uses Thor’s Hammer swing animations, while Panther’s Showtime umbrella emote may fall out of sync with the character’s hands in private server sessions.
Free Rocket League rewards and challenges
The crossover extends into Rocket League through a challenge track, with several stages running in the limited-time Bullet Ball mode. This track is the only route to earning Phantom Thieves cosmetics for free.

- Earn a combined total of 1,996 points in online play
- Perform 15 ball freezes in Bullet Ball
- In Bullet Ball, land 120 ball hits on your opponent
- In Bullet Ball, rack up 25 knockouts or demolitions
- With the Joker Mask topper equipped, earn MVP honors in 3 online matches
Clearing those objectives unlocks the Trickster Wheels, the Morgana Token Boost and Trail, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts Universal Decal, the Persona 5 Royal Octane Decal, the Take Your Heart Player Title, the Joker Topper, the Morgana Player Banner, the Persona 5 Royal Avatar Border, a Treasure Chest drop, and 20,000 repeatable XP.
The final MVP challenge only counts progress while the Joker Topper is equipped, so earn that topper earlier in the track and put it on before you queue.
How to confirm the collab is live and buy in
The Outfits require no separate claim or unlock. At the 5PM PT shop rotation, look for a Persona 5 Royal section in the Item Shop, with separate Joker and Ann listings alongside a combined bundle; each option includes the Morgana Sidekick. The drop is live once that section appears with both Outfits. Purchasing either character grants Morgana Sidekick, which has no standalone listing.
Epic has not published prices, and no Persona gliders, loading screens, or Jam Tracks have been mentioned. Load your V-Bucks before the reset, since a top-up that clears after the listing rotates will not help you grab anything faster. A separate Override Series Cup on September 25 is expected to hand out an emoticon outside the shop, giving competitive players one free set item.
Persona 5 Royal joins Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in the Gaming Legends rotation of Chapter 7 Season 4, Override. The drop adds no point of interest, Mythic weapon, or summon mechanic, and Joker is not part of the Season 4 Battle Pass. Everything here is cosmetic, and the launch window is your guaranteed chance to buy before the items leave the shop on no fixed return schedule.
