The Autumn week of Series 1: Welcome to Japan adds a new Treasure Hunt to Forza Horizon 6, and the chest is sitting on the Minamino golf course. The photo clue shows a bright box on a manicured green, which points you to the course at the center of the Minamino region, northeast of Tokyo City. Find it, drive through it, and the reward lands instantly.

Where to find the Minamino Treasure Hunt chest
Open the map and move to the Minamino region, which sits just north and slightly northeast of Tokyo City. A single golf course dominates the middle of the region, ringed by a dirt road. That course is the location from the photo clue.
The chest is on the western side of the course, on the highest hill near the treeline. A white golf flag marks the exact spot, and the chest sits right beside it. It's almost directly west of the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Treasure Car location, so if you grabbed that car you already know the area.

Fastest way to reach the golf course
Step 1: If you've already driven through Minamino, open the map and fast travel to the nearest unlocked point. Either the Airfield Trail dirt race or the Naruo Cross Country Circuit drops you right beside the course.
Step 2: If fast travel isn't available there yet, drive in from one of the roads bordering the course. Pass the clubhouse and keep heading west across the grass.
Step 3: Climb the hill toward the tree line on the western edge until the white flag and the chest come into view.

How to collect the chest
There's no cutscene, prompt, or secondary objective here. Unlike Barn Finds or Treasure Cars, you don't manually interact with this chest. Just line your car up and drive into it the same way you smash Horizon XP boards and Mascots.
The chest registers as collected the instant your car makes contact, so you don't need to stop or hold a button. You'll know it worked when the Credits and points are added and the Treasure Hunt is marked complete in the playlist.

Minamino Treasure Hunt rewards
Completing the hunt pays out a flat 100,000 Credits deposited straight into your account, along with three points toward the Series 1 reward track. Those Credits cover car purchases, house upgrades, tuning, and customization.
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Credits | 100,000 CR |
| Festival Playlist points | 3 |
The three points stack toward the Autumn reward cars and the larger Series 1 milestones. Here's what the points unlock this week.
| Car | Points needed |
|---|---|
| 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec | 15 |
| 1991 Honda CR-X SiR | 30 |
| 2008 Mazda Furai | 60 |
| 2010 Nissan 370Z | 120 |

Don't wait to grab it
Treasure Hunt chests are tied to the active season, so this one disappears once Autumn rotates out. The season is set to change on June 11, replacing the Minamino chest with a new hunt, so the golf course window stays open only until then.
The full run takes under five minutes once you know the spot, with no race to win and no skill check involved. Head to the Minamino golf course, smash the chest by the white flag, and pocket the Credits while the Autumn week is live.
