The Tokyo City region Treasure Hunt is the trickiest chest in the current Spring Festival Playlist for Forza Horizon 6. The only clue you get is a photo of stacked shipping containers, which fits most of the docks. The chest is real, the reward is 100,000 CR plus 3 Festival Playlist points, and reaching it means a multi-level run across warehouse ramps and exterior catwalks.
Quick answer: Fast travel to the Tokyo City Docks drift zone, drive up the ramp on the southernmost warehouse, jump across the connected catwalks to the third warehouse, and smash the chest on the platform sticking out from its outer wall.
Where the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt chest is
The chest sits on an exterior platform attached to the northernmost warehouse in the Tokyo City container port, on the eastern edge of the region. The port runs along the waterfront near the bottom-middle of Japan’s map, in the same docks area used for the second wristband event.
The fastest way in is to fast travel to the Tokyo City Docks drift zone, which spawns you right next to the warehouses. Look to your right and you’ll see a row of large buildings with ramps and platforms running across them. One warehouse has “Irakuzu” painted in black letters facing the drift zone, and there’s a multi-colored building marked “Tomitama” nearby. The ramp you want is on the outside of the first warehouse you reach.

This is a carkour run, so handling matters more than top speed. Use a tuned car you can control precisely, since several catwalk corners have no guardrails. Going too fast through a turn will throw you off the edge and force you to restart the approach.
- Medium speed through the corners.
- Full speed on the straight ramps.
- No braking mid-air during gap jumps.

Route to reach the chest

How to confirm it worked
Smashing the chest instantly completes the Spring Weekly Challenge. You’ll see the 100,000 CR payout and the 3 Festival Playlist points credited on screen. If you fall off a catwalk before reaching it, the chest stays unbroken and you simply restart the approach from the drift zone.
Rewards and Spring season prize cars
The chest itself pays out credits and points, while the points feed into the wider Spring season total that unlocks the prize cars.
| Reward | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 100,000 CR + 3 Festival Playlist points | Smash the Treasure Hunt chest |
| Toyota Starlet Glanza V 1996 | 15 season points |
| Toyota Corolla SR5 1974 | 30 season points |
The chest’s 3 points alone won’t unlock either car, so you’ll need to stack completions across the other Spring challenges to reach 15 or 30 points.
Deadline before the chest disappears
This is the final Treasure Hunt of the Welcome to Japan Series 1 Festival Playlist. The chest becomes unavailable at 2:30PM UTC on June 18, 2026, when the playlist rotates to Summer and a new Series begins. Once that happens, this specific chest is gone permanently, so grab the credits and points before the season flips.
