The winter chest sits in an unmarked parking lot near the Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields, and smashing it pays out 100,000 CR.

The winter Treasure Hunt in the Italian Exotics Festival Playlist drops you a single photo clue and a whole region to search. The picture shows a wooden building beside a snow-covered road, which fits large stretches of northern Japan. The chest itself is far more specific than the clue lets on.

Quick answer: The Hokubu chest sits in an unmarked parking lot next to a shed with four garage doors, just northwest of the Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields in the north-central part of the Hokubu region. Drive straight through it to complete the hunt and bank 100,000 CR.

Hokubu Treasure Hunt chest location

Hokubu is one of the northern regions on the world map, sitting above Tokyo City and containing the player-owned Estate. The Shikisai-no-Oka flower fields are the easiest landmark to anchor to, positioned east of the Estate. The chest is not in the fields themselves. It waits to the northwest, at a paved parking area off the road that has no marker of its own.

Look for a long rectangular building with four large garage doors facing the lot. The chest sits out in the open in the parking area, not inside the building or tucked behind it. Nearby you can spot golf carts and shipping containers marked PRAV, plus water tanks and smaller hardware sheds, which confirm you are in the right spot.

Fastest route to the chest

You can drive any car for this hunt. There are no class, speed, or Photo Mode requirements. The route runs through snow-covered roads, so snow tires help if your current car is losing grip.

Open the Festival Playlist, select the Winter season, and highlight the Hokubu Treasure Hunt. Open its location on the world map and set a route so the GPS marker guides you in.
If you have unlocked the Blue Wristband, fast travel to the Flower Run Speed Trap in Hokubu to spawn close to the area. This cuts the drive down considerably.
From the speed trap, drive straight ahead, then take the road heading west on the left. Before the road curves right, cut off-road and keep going straight until you reach the unmarked parking lot.
Drive into the chest to smash it. That single action finishes the challenge, so there is nothing else to trigger afterward.

How to confirm it worked

The 100,000 CR and the Festival points register the moment the chest breaks. If the reward does not appear, drive away from the parking lot, reopen the Festival Playlist, and select the Treasure Hunt again to force it to update.

If you cannot see the chest at all, check that you selected the seasonal Treasure Hunt rather than a permanent Treasure Car clue. The correct map icon reads Treasure Chest and shows a status of Not Collected. Should the marker linger on the map after you have already smashed the chest, restarting the game clears it.
