The Winter season of Forza Horizon 6 is the third of four weekly playlists in Series 1: Welcome to Japan. It is live from June 4 to June 11, 2026, and it adds two new seasonal reward cars on the Japan map. Every point you earn this week counts twice, once toward the Winter season totals and again toward the larger series-wide totals.
Winter season dates and reset time
Winter runs for a full week and then flips to Spring. The season closes on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 14:30 UTC (2:30 PM UTC), and the wider Series 1 closes a week later on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the same time. Once a season ends, the chance to earn points and seasonal-exclusive cars from its events is gone until they cycle back in a future series.
Daily challenges open one at a time at 7:30 AM Pacific (14:30 UTC) and stay available for seven days, which means the current set can be finished into the start of the next season. Every other seasonal event expires the moment Winter ends.

How the Festival Playlist points system works
Each season offers two featured season rewards tied to point thresholds. As you complete events, your points add to the Winter total and to the running Series 1 total at the same time, so nothing is wasted. Some events also hand out their own car or item the moment you finish them, separate from the point thresholds.
To complete the full Winter season, you need 45 points, and 30 of those are enough to claim both season cars. The full Series 1 total runs to 180 points, with milestone cars at 60 and 120 points.

Winter season and Series 1 reward cars
The two Winter cars are the Subaru STI S209 at 15 points and the Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 at 30 points. Both are seasonal-exclusive, so missing the window means waiting for a return or buying from another player. The series milestones, the 2008 Mazda Furai and the 2010 Nissan 370Z, are claimed from your cumulative Series 1 total.

| Points | Reward | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| 15 | 2019 Subaru STI S209 | Winter season |
| 30 | 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 | Winter season |
| 60 | 2008 Mazda Furai | Series 1 total |
| 120 | 2010 Nissan 370Z | Series 1 total |
The Mazda Furai is a concept car driven by a modified 450-horsepower 20B three-rotor Wankel engine, and its name means "sound of the wind" in Japanese. It is making its Forza Horizon debut after earlier appearing in Forza Motorsport.

All Winter seasonal events and point values
The biggest single sources of points are the three Seasonal Championships, each worth 5 points. You must finish first across a three-race series, solo against Drivatars, in co-op, or in PvP. Each one is locked to a car class, so check the eligible cars before you start. You can filter the official Forza Horizon 6 car list by country or car type and sort by class to find a quick match.
| Pts | Event | Requirement and route |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Championship — Be a Good Sport | Retro Sports Cars, B class; Street (Matsumi Climb, Tokyo City Docks Charge, Kita Ine) |
| 5 | Championship — When in Roma | Modern Supercars, S1 class; Road (Tateyama Kurobe Sprint, Shikisai Sprint, Hokubu Circuit) |

| 3 | The Eliminator — Battle Royale | Finish 30th or better |

| 2 | Speed Zone — Temple Run-Up | Japan, S1 class; 90.0 mph (145 kph) |
| 4 / 1 | Monthly Rivals — Soni Circuit | Clean lap in the provided 2008 Mazda Furai; 1 point per season, 4 across the series |
Monthly Rivals runs across all four weeks of Series 1. The car is loaned to you for the event, so you do not need to own it, and a single clean lap earns the points. The fastest early points are the Photo Challenge and Snack Attack, both of which take only a couple of minutes.
Weekly Challenge: Ultimate Driving Machine steps
The weekly challenge is built around the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe. All four chapters must be done in order and with that car to earn the 5 points and 25,000 credits.
Step 1: Own and drive the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe. Buy it from the Autoshow if it is not already in your garage, then get behind the wheel.
Step 2: Earn 3 stars at Speed Traps while driving the 2020 BMW M2. Pick faster open stretches to build speed before the trap.
Step 3: Take a photo of your 2020 BMW M2 using Horizon Promo mode.
Step 4: Complete 3 laps at the Soni Time Attack in the 2020 BMW M2 to finish the chain.

Daily Challenges this week
Seven daily challenges are worth 1 point each, plus 5,000 credits per completion. Because each stays open for seven days, you can stack them all in one session rather than logging in every day.
| Challenge | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Spirited Away | Beat a Rivals Ghost in any Japanese car |
| Honkda | Honk your horn in any Honda |
| Care Package | Send a Gift Drop to another player |
| What a Rush! | Complete a Horizon Rush Event |
| Temper Tantrum | Earn 2 Wrecking Ball Skills |
| Gotta Go Fast! | Reach 200 mph |
| Back on Track | Complete 3 laps at any Time Attack Circuit |
Bonus cars and items from individual events
Beyond the point thresholds, several Winter events drop their own reward as soon as you finish them. These are independent of your 15 and 30 point goals.
| Reward | Type |
|---|---|
| Slide Whistle | Car Horn |
| 2023 Lotus Emira | Seasonal Exclusive car |
| 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster | Seasonal Exclusive car |

Car Pass owners also receive the 1972 Datsun #268 Attacking the Clock Racing 240Z "All Carbon Hill Climb Beast" this Thursday, which becomes a permanent Autoshow car. The Playlist History reward, the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II, needs 500 series points and cannot be reached within Series 1's 180-point cap, but points carry into future series toward it.

How to confirm you unlocked the rewards
Open the Festival Playlist menu and check the season point counter against the 15 and 30 point markers. When a threshold is met, the reward car appears as unlocked and is added to your garage, and the playlist shows the milestone as complete. Earning every point in the season unlocks the "Played-List" achievement, while playing during Welcome to Japan grants the "Day One" badge.
The most common reason a championship or weekly chapter fails to register is using a car outside the required class or model, so confirm the eligible car before each run. With three championships, the weekly challenge, the daily set, and the quick photo and collectible events, reaching 30 points well before the June 11 reset is straightforward for steady play, and pushing toward the Furai at 60 series points keeps you on track for the final Spring week.
