Baleetle is a Rock-element DPS from the Breezy Plains region, and it sits at the start of a two-way evolution split. One creature can take exactly one of those two paths, so the choice you make is the one you keep for that individual Aniimo.

Quick answer: Raise Baleetle to Aniimo level 39, then either complete the Great Rolling Racing Challenge for Waleetle or learn [Peculiar Rock Ball] and defeat Alpha Bouldus for Bouldus. Each costs Loam Stone x1.

Baleetle evolution requirements for Waleetle and Bouldus

Both branches share the same level gate and the same material cost. What separates them is the unlock condition attached to each one.

ResultLevelUnlock conditionCost
Waleetle39Complete a perfect trajectory; complete the Great Rolling Racing ChallengeLoam Stone x1
Bouldus39Learn passive talent [Peculiar Rock Ball]; defeat Alpha BouldusLoam Stone x1

There is no shared intermediate stage between them. Baleetle is a Stage 1 creature, and both Waleetle and Bouldus are Stage 3 results of the same branching decision. Neither of them has a further evolution.

Where to find Baleetle

The base form lives in Berylline Vale, inside the Breezy Plains region, at a level range of 40 to 47. That range sits above the level 39 evolution gate, so a wild capture will usually already qualify without extra grinding.

Both Waleetle and Bouldus are recorded in the same area at the same level range, which makes Berylline Vale the single place to farm the whole family.

How to evolve Baleetle into Waleetle

Get your Baleetle to Aniimo level 39. Nothing on this branch becomes available before that threshold is met.
Complete a perfect trajectory and finish the Great Rolling Racing Challenge. This is the unlock condition that opens the Waleetle option on Baleetle’s evolution screen.
Spend Loam Stone x1 to complete the evolution. Baleetle becomes Waleetle, and that individual can no longer take the Bouldus path.

Waleetle stays a Rock DPS and keeps the speed-focused identity. Its stat line moves to 90 HP, 114 attack, 80 defense, 100 EP regen, 52 BP attack, 114 magic attack, and 80 magic defense. Height stays at 0.7 m and weight at 6 kg.

The skill set grows from Baleetle’s short list into a full kit. Waleetle carries ATK, Stone Ball Cutter, Stone Ball Drift, Sandstorm Spin, and the innate Rock Ball Blast, which launches a giant rock ball that rolls through targets and explodes.

How to evolve Baleetle into Bouldus

Bring Baleetle to Aniimo level 39, the same gate used by the other branch.
Learn the passive talent [Peculiar Rock Ball]. This branch will not appear until the corresponding passive talent is learned.
Defeat Alpha Bouldus. That fight is the unlock condition tied to this path.
Pay Loam Stone x1 to finish the evolution and turn Baleetle into Bouldus.

Bouldus changes role entirely, moving from DPS to SUP. It lands on 91 HP, 114 attack, 101 defense, 104 EP regen, 52 BP attack, 114 magic attack, and 54 magic defense, and it grows to 1.4 m tall while keeping the 6 kg weight.

Its kit is built around ground control rather than raw speed. Bouldus uses ATK, Rock Tackle, Rolling Ball, and Clay Ball, plus the innate Boulder Blast, which spins across the ground, pulls in debris, then detonates for area damage and creates six [Rock Piles] around it.

Those [Rock Piles] are not just decoration. Bouldus can pair with a Waleetle, whose Stone Ball Drift destroys the piles and releases shock waves that apply [Disintegration] to the target, reducing Earth Resistance and movement speed in stacks that last 20 seconds.

Base stat comparison across the family

Defense6880101

Magic attack98114114
Magic defense688054

Offense is identical between the two results, so the decision comes down to durability profile and role. Waleetle holds the higher magic defense and keeps the DPS slot, while Bouldus trades magic defense away for far better physical defense and a support role.

Snowfield and Prismana forms

The Snowfield variants are Rock and Ice dual-element and live in Russet Highlands at a level range of 45 to 50. Their stat lines match the base forms exactly, and the evolution requirements are identical, with Snowfield Baleetle producing Snowfield Waleetle or Snowfield Bouldus.

Some skills are locked to specific forms rather than the family as a whole. Ice Ball Cutting appears only on Baleetle (Snowfield) and Waleetle (Snowfield), Ice Sphere belongs only to Bouldus (Snowfield), and Darkwheel Slash is exclusive to Waleetle (Prismana). The base forms do not have any of them.

Waleetle (Prismana) is the outlier. It is a Rock and Dark creature tied to the Season 1 Keepsakes region rather than a field habitat, and it is not produced by evolving a wild Baleetle.

How to confirm the evolution worked

A successful evolution changes the creature’s entry outright. The species name switches to Waleetle or Bouldus, the stage reads 3 instead of 1, and one Loam Stone leaves your inventory.

The skill list is the other clear check. Waleetle gains Sandstorm Spin and the innate Rock Ball Blast, while Bouldus swaps to Rock Tackle, Rolling Ball, Clay Ball, and Boulder Blast, and its role label changes from DPS to SUP.

Rock element matchups worth knowing

  • Rock attacks deal 1.6x damage to Fire and Ice.
  • Rock attacks deal 0.625x damage to Dark, Grass, Rock, and Water.
  • Grass and Water attacks both deal 1.6x damage to Rock.
  • Ice attacks are reduced to 0.625x against Rock, which helps the Snowfield variants’ Ice typing sit alongside Rock rather than replace it.

Since the two branches split from the same creature and cost the same material, the practical approach is to raise two Baleetle and take one down each path. That gives you a Rock DPS and a Rock support with a trait that feeds directly off each other’s skills, without having to re-grind the level 39 gate for a second attempt on the same Aniimo.
