Gakuran is not just about fighting, a big part of its charm is the interactable objects scattered around Nishikata that let you relax, express yourself, and hang out with other players. Two of the most rewarding are the Chalkboard and the Library books. This guide covers how each one works and what you can do with them.
The Chalkboard: a shared canvas
The Chalkboard is a drawing surface where you can create artwork, write notes, sketch ideas, or leave messages for others to find. To draw, you first need a piece of chalk in your possession, once equipped, interact with the board and start drawing directly onto its surface.
What makes it special is that it is fully collaborative:
- Multiple chalk colors: use different colors to create colorful drawings and designs.
- Real-time multiplayer: several players can draw on the same board at once.
- Shared visibility: anything drawn is visible to everyone nearby.
- Persistent artwork: drawings stay on the board until someone erases them.
Because different players can use different chalk colors, it is easy to tell contributions apart, which makes group art, classroom lessons, event planning, or games genuinely fun.
