The 7.1 beta points to four banners, with two new Snezhnayan 5-stars and a pair of returning units.

Genshin Impact 7.1 continues the Snezhnaya chapter, and the version’s beta has surfaced the shape of its wish lineup. Two new 5-star characters are set to debut, both tied to the region’s cast that HoYoverse teased in the Transcendence trailer, alongside a pair of rerun banners. All of this is drawn from beta leaks and can change before the update goes live.

Quick answer: Version 7.1 is expected to run four banners across two phases. Vodyanitsa (5-star Hydro) and Vesna (5-star Anemo) are the new debuts, while Zibai and Linnea are the leaked reruns. Rerun details are confirmed only at the 7.1 livestream, so treat the lineup as provisional until then.

Genshin Impact 7.1 banner lineup

The leak, attributed to the reliable community leaker Kuroo, lists four total banners for 7.1. Two carry new characters, and two are reruns of existing units.

Vodyanitsa (5-star Hydro support)

Vodyanitsa is the Prima Soprano of the Snezhnaya Korolevskiy Troupe and one of the most requested new units after her role in the 7.0 Archon Quest. Her identity centers on singing, ocean imagery, and a clearly shown Hydro Vision.

Kit leaks describe her as a Hydro support built for Stellar teams. She is expected to shred enemy RES, buff Stellar Swirl damage, and heal teammates. That combination points to a flexible enabler rather than a main damage dealer, which pairs naturally with a Stellar Swirl carry.

Vesna (5-star Anemo main DPS)

Vesna is the commander of the Druzhna, the group serving the Tsaritsa, and her role was briefly set up toward the end of Chapter VII: Act 2. She also appears in the Transcendence trailer, where she leads a search operation and declares the group’s loyalty to Snezhnaya.

Her leaked kit frames her as a Stellar Swirl main DPS on an Anemo Sword. If accurate, she would be the first limited 5-star Stellar Swirl unit released in the Snezhnaya arc, which makes her a strong pairing target for Vodyanitsa’s buffs and RES shred.

7.1 rerun banners: Zibai and Linnea

The two rerun slots are expected to go to Zibai, a Geo Sword DPS, and Linnea, a Geo Bow support. Kuroo has noted both as likely returns, but rerun placements shift often, and the concrete pairing is only locked in when HoYoverse runs the 7.1 special program.

What is still unconfirmed

A few pieces of the 7.1 picture are not set. Phase placement for each character, the featured 4-stars, and the weapon banner contents are not finalized in beta. Featured 4-stars in particular are usually only confirmed by datamining the trial runs during pre-load, so they can stay unknown until launch week.

There is also no officially confirmed 7.1 release date and time yet. Any specific date circulating now is an estimate, not a HoYoverse announcement.

Note: You can verify the final lineup once the official 7.1 livestream airs and the in-game Event Wishes go live. Until then, if you plan to pull for both new units, a full two-character guarantee runs up to 180 wishes for one guaranteed limited 5-star, so budgeting toward roughly 28,800 Primogems per guaranteed character keeps your options open across the two phases.
