Genshin Impact Codes (September 2026)

Genshin Impact hands out free Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, and other materials through redemption codes released alongside updates, livestreams, and milestones. Some codes stay active for weeks, while others tied to special broadcasts only work for a short window before they stop functioning.

How to redeem Genshin Impact codes

Redemption requires an account that has reached Adventure Rank 10. You’ll also need a character created on the server where you plan to redeem, with your HoYoverse account linked in the User Center.

Redeem through the official website

Open the official Genshin Impact redemption page and sign in with the account linked to your character, or log in through a connected Google, Apple, Facebook, or Twitter/X account.

Select the server region your character plays on, then type in your exact in-game nickname.

Paste or type the code into the redemption field and press “Redeem.” A “Redemption Successful” message confirms the code went through.

Launch the game, open the in-game mail from the main menu, and select “Claim All” to collect the Primogems, Mora, or other materials the code granted.

Redeem inside the game

Open the in-game menu, select the settings cog, then choose “Account.”

Find the “Redeem Code” option and enter the code exactly as written, matching capitalization.

Confirm the redemption, then check in-game mail to claim the rewards.

In-game redemption is not available on iOS. Players on that platform need to use the website instead.

A code can only be applied once per character, so a second playthrough on a new account is the only way to reuse one.

Expired Genshin Impact codes

Codes tied to version livestreams only stay active for a set window, usually 48 hours, before HoYoverse shuts them off. The three codes released during the version 7.1 broadcast stopped working after 16th September 2026 and no longer grant rewards.

Rekviem — previously gave 100 Primogems and 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore
Vesna0923 — previously gave 100 Primogems and 5 Hero’s Wit
PrimaDonna — previously gave 100 Primogems and 50,000 Mora

No official date for the next batch of livestream codes has been confirmed. New codes generally appear alongside major version broadcasts and story milestones, so checking back around those moments is the most reliable way to catch fresh ones before they expire.
