Three Jack Frosts have scattered across the House of Hesperides’ Main Floor, disguising themselves as furniture and clutter. Catching all three is what unlocks the Hide-and-Seek Jack Frosts reward in Genshin Impact, and each one needs a different Prime Ice Construct action to flush it out.
Quick answer: Approach the four Jack Frosts in the Mountain Mansion Front Hall, then use a Grappling Gun Structure on the southeast display shelf, dismantle the northwest icy vase, and hit the barrel by the southern stairs. Return to the starting spot to open an Exquisite Chest.
How to start the Hide-and-Seek Jack Frosts quest
Head to the Mountain Mansion Front Hall, which is the House of Hesperides Main Floor, and walk up to the group of four Jack Frosts standing there. When you approach them, three of the four break away and hide somewhere in the mansion. From that moment, the hunt is on, and finding all three is what triggers the chest.
The House of Hesperides itself only opens once you have the Invitation to the “Ritual,” which comes before the Hesperides of Love and Hate world quest. Without that invitation, you cannot enter the mansion or reach the Jack Frosts.
Where to find all three hidden Jack Frosts
Each Jack Frost hides in a specific spot on the Main Floor, and you reveal each one with a Prime Ice Construct. Work through them in order below and every one will scurry back to the original meeting point once caught.

Claim the reward and confirm completion
Once all three Jack Frosts are caught, return to the spot where they first gathered. An Exquisite Chest is waiting there, and opening it confirms the quest is finished.
The chest can contain a Cryo Sigil, Intricately Patterned Buttons, and Primogems. If the chest is not there, you have likely missed one of the three, so double-check the shelf, vase, and barrel before heading back.
What to do with Intricately Patterned Buttons
Intricately Patterned Buttons are spent at the Jack Frost Goodie Shop in Jack Frost Village. You can trade them for items such as the A Touch of Frost in Scorching Summer! weapon skin, the Construct Appearance: Jack Frost, and level-up materials.
The shop only becomes available after you finish the Small Jack Frost, Big Trouble world quest. Until then, hold onto the buttons and cash them in once the village is open.
