The House of Hesperides in Genshin Impact holds a run of hidden challenges spread across its main floor, upper floors, and clock tower. Clearing them spawns chests of different rarities and reveals the mansion’s Collectible Paintings. Some chests hand out Intricately Patterned Buttons, which you can spend at the Jack Frosts’ Goodies Shop in Jack Frost Village.
Quick answer: Work through all 16 challenges by floor. Most are solved by matching Jack Frosts, building Prime Ice Constructs, rotating paintings or statues, or firing long-ranged attacks. A completed challenge spawns a chest and updates the objective on the House of Hesperides map.

Locked Door
Pick up the Key of Ancient Design from the nearby row of Matryoshka Dolls, then use it on the sealed door. Opening it gives you a Collectible Painting.
Hide-and-Seek Jack Frosts
Three Jack Frosts have disguised themselves as objects. Deal with each one based on its shape.
- Build a Grappling Gun for the one hiding as a hook.
- Dismantle the one hiding as a cone.
- Attack the one hiding as a barrel.
Jack Frost at the Easel
After the Hide-and-Seek challenge, take the northwestern stairs in the same room. Sit on the chair up there to pose as the muse for the painting Jack Frost. Completing it rewards another Collectible Painting.
Jack Frost in Different Hats
Step down from the easel and approach the Jack Frost that keeps changing the shape and color of its hat. Match its hat to the two other Jack Frosts standing beside it to spawn a Common chest.

Watch the Jack Frosts in the mansion’s kitchen, then answer Vershina’s questions. Give these replies in order.

Jack Frosts in the Wine Cellar
Head to the Wine Cellar in the Mountain Mansion Front Hall and talk to the guard inside to start the task. You then help the Jack Frosts roll barrels toward the racking area. Hit the barrel toward the Jack Frost positioned across from the Determined-Looking Jack Frost to finish it.
Second Floor (F2) challenges
Misaligned Statues
Rotate the two Elegant Snegurochka Statues so each faces a forest painting. One should point at the pine painting, and the other at the white birch.
VIP Lounge
Lazoreva wants company in the VIP Lounge. The Matryoshka Doll Blueprint sits behind the bar in the same room. Build a Matryoshka Doll Prime Ice Construct and place it on the seat directly opposite her.
Musical Chairs Jack Frosts
This challenge shares the same room as the VIP Lounge and Seating Arrangements tasks. No official solution is currently confirmed.
Seating Arrangements
Arrange the seats for Abuzova’s four guests. Follow these three steps in the same area as the VIP Lounge.
- Build Cube Prime Ice Constructs to block the gap in the side room.
- Invite Zlatov and Khmelyova to sit in the side room.
- Tell Iskelina and Koshakova to sit in the main hall.
Bedroom
Rotate four Mountain Paintings into their correct positions. Doing so spawns a Common chest and opens the Secret Chamber, which holds rewards including a Collectible Painting.
- Rotate the two paintings on the wall.
- Rotate the small painting behind the bookcase.
- Use a Cube Prime Ice Construct to lift the large painting.

Third Floor challenges
Mischievous Jack Frost
This Jack Frost decoys itself as a Prime Ice Construct above a table. Dismantle the decoy to expose it, then chase it as it runs off and dismantle its decoy a second time. Catching it spawns a Common chest.
Empty Display Stands
A display room on the third floor holds three empty stands, each marked with a Sign. Build the matching gadget at each one.
- Grappling Gun near the Sign of Friendship.
- Launching Platform for the Sign of Motion.
- Basic Heat Source at the Sign of Spring.
Setting all three correctly gives an Exquisite chest and opens a hidden part of the room.
Clock Tower challenges
Two challenges are tied to the mansion’s clock tower, Guardian of the Clock Tower and Lofty Clock Tower. No official solutions for either are currently confirmed.
Each solved challenge updates its objective to Completed on the House of Hesperides map, so use that marker to confirm your progress. Once you have cleared every one, the chests you earn can carry Intricately Patterned Buttons for the Jack Frosts’ Goodies Shop, and every Collectible Painting location in the mansion becomes visible.
