Genshin Impact Predictive Victory Dynamics: Quarterfinals – Group A Explained

The fifth prediction round sets four surviving teams across two matches, with Victory Emblem bets and the five-round reward on the line.

The fifth prediction round sets four surviving teams across two matches, with Victory Emblem bets and the five-round reward on the line.

Quarterfinals – Group A is the fifth prediction round in Genshin Impact’s Predictive Victory Dynamics event, and it opened on October 16, 2026. Four teams that survived the Round of 16 now face off across two simulated battles, and you back the side you expect to win by placing Victory Emblems on it. You never control the units yourself. You read both lineups, pick a winner, and your Prediction Score rises or falls on the result.

Quick answer: Open the prediction board in Natlan’s Children of Echoes territory, assign Victory Emblems to one team in each of the two Group A matches before the round’s 24-hour timer ends, then claim the per-round participation reward. Completing this round also unlocks the five-round milestone.

Quarterfinals – Group A matchups, support rates and multipliers

Two matches make up this round. Each team carries a Support Rate, which is the share of players backing it, and a Current Score Multiplier that decides how much Prediction Score a correct call pays out. The lower the Support Rate, the higher the multiplier for backing that side.

MatchTeamSupport RateScore Multiplier
Match 1Saurians Are the Cutest58%×40
Match 1Little Fungi Clan42%×50
Match 2Mirror Fruity Order23%×105
Match 2Unofficial Blazing Beasts Members77%×30

Match 1 is close, with a 58-42 split. Match 2 is lopsided. Unofficial Blazing Beasts Members sits at 77% support and pays only ×30, while Mirror Fruity Order is the long shot at 23% and ×105. A big multiplier looks tempting, but it reflects how few players expect that side to win.

You can open each unit to read its stats before you commit. In Match 1, the Saurian side fields one very strong unit against a cluster of fungi.

Sappho Amidst the Waves80123,00019,400
Winged Cryoshroom8092,0009,200
Floating Anemo Fungus80110,0008,300

Sappho Amidst the Waves carries far higher ATK than the individual fungi, so Match 1 turns on whether that single heavy hitter can outlast a team that leans on numbers. Both sides also begin losing HP continuously once a battle runs long enough, which can decide a drawn-out fight.

How Victory Emblems and Prediction Score work

Every round hands you a fixed pool of Victory Emblems. You spread them across the round’s two matches however you like, either concentrating them on one call or splitting them. The amount you place on the winning side, multiplied by that side’s Score Multiplier, becomes the Prediction Score you earn.

The arithmetic is direct. Placing 50 Emblems on a side with a ×40 multiplier returns 2,000 Prediction Score if it wins. The same 50 on a ×30 side returns 1,500. Backing the wrong team earns no score from that match, though the per-round participation reward is paid regardless of whether your pick wins.

The Support Rate becomes fixed at a specific point before the battle resolves, meaning percentages and multipliers displayed early in the countdown may change before they settle.

What Round of 16 – Group D settled first

Quarterfinals – Group A only opens once the previous round resolves. Round of 16 – Group D produced two winners that advance into the bracket.

What Does the Ninken Say? won Match 1 against Simple-Soul Hilichurl Fighters. A correct 50-Emblem call on it at a ×30 multiplier paid out 1,500 Prediction Score.

Round-and-Frost Assault took Match 2 over Ultra-Ancient Heavy Assault Formation, where a 50-Emblem call at a ×35 multiplier returned 1,750.

Together those two wins added 3,250 to the Round Score for that round, which is the figure shown on the Group D summary.

Rewards this round unlocks

There are two separate reward tracks. Full Participation Rewards pay out simply for taking part, win or lose. Prediction Score Rewards unlock as your cumulative score crosses set thresholds.

Participate in the current round20 Primogems, 20,000 Mora
Participate in 3 rounds total40 Primogems, 40,000 Mora
Participate in 5 rounds total60 Primogems, 6 Sanctifying Unction

Because Quarterfinals – Group A is the fifth round, submitting a prediction here takes a consistent player to five rounds total and opens the 60 Primogem and six Sanctifying Unction reward. That reward is claimed from the event menu, not from the match screen.

Prediction Score Rewards

The score track runs through milestones at 8,000, 10,000, 12,000, 14,000, 16,000 and 20,000 cumulative Prediction Score. Reaching 8,000 pays 40 Primogems, 40,000 Mora and two Sanctifying Unction. A running total of 9,750 after Group D, for example, has cleared the 8,000 tier and sits short of the next.

You claim each unlocked tier from the Prediction Score Rewards screen inside the event menu. Climbing further up the track depends on correct calls, since only winning picks add score.

Deadline and confirming your pick landed

Each round stays open for 24 hours, and the event interface shows a “Time Remaining for This Prediction Round” counter. Once that timer runs out, the round locks and its participation reward can no longer be earned. There is no catch-up entry for a round you miss, so the window is the one figure to watch.

Your prediction is confirmed once the match screen shows your Emblems placed on the chosen team and the counter updates. After the round resolves, the result screen marks a correct call as “Prediction Successful” and displays the Score Multiplier and Score Earned, which is how you verify the points landed. Quarterfinals – Group B follows on October 17, the Semifinals on October 18, and the Final Showdown on October 19.
