Transplanted from “Yesterday” to “Tomorrow” is the second mission in the In the Dwelling of Life quest chain, one of the Snezhnaya storylines that feeds a fragment into the Eye of Graeae. It is a short mission built around movement rather than combat. You reach a broken-down station, open a path for Nastya, and follow her until a cutscene ends the quest.
Quick answer: Follow the railway to the station, summon a Grappling Gun on the window hook, cross to the roof and pull the switch on the column to open the gate, then follow Nastya through the forest along the marked route until the tree monster appears.
How the quest starts
Transplanted from “Yesterday” to “Tomorrow” begins automatically the moment you finish A Sprout Without a Gardener, the mission that comes before it in the chain. There is no separate NPC to talk to and no marker to hunt for. Once the previous mission wraps, this one is already active in your quest log.
Reach the station and cross with the Grappling Gun
Open the gate for Nastya
Once you are on the other side of the station, find the switch on the column and interact with it. This opens the gate so Nastya can pass through and join you outside.
Follow Nastya through the forest barriers
After Nastya leaves the station, follow her down the stairs until you reach a barrier in the forest area. The barriers block the direct path, so stick to the route your map highlights to weave around them and reach her.
When you catch up, a long cutscene plays. At the end of it, a large tree monster appears and attacks. That encounter marks the end of Transplanted from “Yesterday” to “Tomorrow” and leads directly into the next part of Nastya’s story.
Completion rewards
You know the mission is done when the tree monster spawns at the close of the final cutscene and the next mission in the In the Dwelling of Life chain takes over in your quest log. The rewards land immediately.
