Genshin Impact: Where to Get All Eye of Graeae Fragments

The Eye of Graeae is the monocle-shaped gadget that guides your travels through Snezhnaya, and it arrives in pieces. You collect it as fragments by finishing three separate quest chains scattered across the frozen region, and only after all three are in hand can the larger story continue. Here is exactly where each fragment lives and how to trigger the quest that grants it.

Quick answer: Finish the Hesperides of Love and Hate, In the Dwelling of Life, and On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb quest chains. Each one awards a single Eye of Graeae fragment, and completing all three lets you start the Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard mission.

The three fragments and their quests

There are three fragments in total, and each is tied to its own quest chain. You cannot buy or randomly find them, so you must play through the missions below. Completing a chain advances your fragment count automatically, and you can confirm your progress by checking for the matching Pebbles in your inventory.

Tip: Unlock the waypoints across the region before you begin. These quests bounce you between distant parts of Snezhnaya, and having Teleport Waypoints and Statues of the Seven open first saves a lot of walking through the cold.

Fragment 1: Hesperides of Love and Hate

Teleport to the central waypoint at Svetloledovka and walk forward until you drop down to the bottom of the valley. Keep moving ahead until you reach a group of miners resting on wooden platforms.

Look for the shiny spot on one of the wooden platforms and interact with it to pick up an Invitation to the “Ritual.” If you would rather skip the search, a Snegovik standing near the Teleport Waypoint can hand you an invitation instead.

Head to the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak, south of the town. Arriving there updates the quest and points you toward Ikhor with a blue marker. Meet Ikhor to officially begin Hesperides of Love and Hate, then play through the chain to claim the first fragment.

Fragment 2: In the Dwelling of Life

Travel to the Statue of the Seven in Flamefeather Valley, west of Morepesok. Slightly south of the statue you will find an NPC known as The Anvil.

Talk to The Anvil to work through the dialogue, which leads into a fight against the NPC and its companion. Defeat both of them, and the In the Dwelling of Life quest chain starts right away and delivers the second fragment on completion.

Fragment 3: On One Side a Palace, On the Other a Tomb

This chain begins on its own once you wrap up the previous quest. Make your way to the Central Station of Snezhnaya, where the final fragment is waiting inside one of the train carriages.

Collect the Eye of Graeae from the carriage. The mission then carries you toward the Snowgrave area and opens access to the Pale Crown Palace, closing out the third and last fragment.

What unlocks after you gather all three fragments

With every fragment collected, the Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard questline becomes available, opening with the An Ark That Used to Be a Soul quest. That quest only appears after you have finished the Gunfire in the Silent Lands Archon Quest, which grants the Snezhnayan Adventure Journal and logs the mission for you.

To continue, travel to the Ruined Hvergelmir of the Pale Crown Palace and speak with the Eye of Graeae. The conversation kicks off the chase after Aksinya into the Court of Bliss and the Shadow Realm, where you eventually confront the Primordial Human.

Even though the story resolves the Eye of Graeae’s origin, you keep its powers afterward. The gadget remains your exploration companion for the rest of Snezhnaya, so finishing the questline does not cost you the train, Prime Ice Constructs, or sheer cold protection.

How to confirm your fragments and common blockers

Each completed chain adds its Pebble to your inventory, and your fragment count ticks up as you go. If the count is not moving, one of these is usually the reason.

You have not finished the full chain. Reaching the starting NPC is only the trigger; the fragment lands when the entire questline is done.
Prerequisite quests are incomplete. On One Side a Palace only begins after In the Dwelling of Life wraps up, and the follow-up mission needs Gunfire in the Silent Lands cleared first.
You skipped the invitation step. Without the Invitation to the “Ritual,” Hesperides of Love and Hate will not advance at Fellfrost Peak.

Work through the three chains in order, keep an eye on your Pebbles, and once all three sit in your inventory you are cleared to head to the Pale Crown Palace and see the story through.
