Grand Blue: How to Get Fruit Fast on Roblox

Four reliable ways to land a Cursed Fruit early, from the wizard quest and hourly tree spawns to chests and codes.

Four reliable ways to land a Cursed Fruit early, from the wizard quest and hourly tree spawns to chests and codes.

Cursed Fruits are the backbone of combat in Grand Blue, and every one of them comes with its own skill tree, its own unlock levels, and its own saved progress. Getting your first one does not require grinding to a high level or buying anything. There are four working routes, and three of them cost nothing.

Quick answer: Redeem TwitterGetFruitChest in the Settings menu for a free Fruit Chest, then complete the Wizard’s Apprentice quest from Almighty Kelvin on the starter island for a second free fruit box.

Fastest route: Redeem codes for a free Fruit Chest

Codes are the quickest path because they work the moment you load in, before you have fought anything. Rewards land in your account and can be opened straight away.

Open the main menu and go to Settings. The redemption field sits under the Codes tab, labelled as the box for entering a code.
Type TwitterGetFruitChest exactly as written and press Redeem. This one grants a 1x Fruit Chest outright, which is the single fastest fruit in the game.

Enter HAPPY next for 2,000 Celestial Coins. That is not a fruit by itself, but it is most of the way toward a 1x Fruit Chest in the shop.

Check for pending rewards. Chests earned from codes sit in the Codes menu until claimed, so open that list and claim before assuming a code failed.

Other codes have circulated for Celestial Coins, Boss Chests, and trait or race rerolls, including Release, TwitterGoalReached, 10KCCU, WorldBossBroke, and SorryForBreakingGame!. Codes expire without warning, so enter them in one sitting rather than saving them.

Almighty Kelvin’s Wizard’s Apprentice quest (one free fruit box)

This is a one-time quest on the starter island, Anchor Town, and it hands over a fruit box with no combat requirement beyond fending off a few hostile NPCs. Do it early, because it never repeats.

Head to Anchor Town and find the NPC Almighty Kelvin, who stands on top of a raised stone ledge near the Blacksmith area. He is easy to run past at ground level, so look up.
Accept the Wizard’s Apprentice quest. It asks for four buried items, including an Earth Shell and a Worm.
Buy a Rusty Shovel for 25G if you do not already have one. Without a shovel you cannot dig at the marked spots.
Follow the yellow quest waypoints along the beach and dig at each one. Treasure Hunter NPCs will attack while you dig, so clear them or move between markers rather than standing still.

Return all four items to Kelvin. The quest closes and pays out a fruit chest, which appears in your inventory ready to open.

Note: the NPC’s name appears as both Kelvin and Calvin depending on where you look in-game. It is the same wizard on the same ledge.

Hourly fruit spawns on trees and plants (free, repeatable)

Cursed Fruits spawn on trees, bushes, and plants across the map once an hour. This is the only free method that repeats forever, and it is how most players build a collection of fruits to swap between.

The spawn is tied to the hour on a server-wide timer, not to your individual character. Being in the right place at the right minute matters more than how much ground you cover the rest of the time.

Note the real-world clock when you join a server so you know when the next hour mark lands.
Quest and grind as normal, then stop roughly two minutes before the hour and move to the nearest cluster of trees and greenery.
Press E on anything that looks interactable. Fruits sit on branches and plants and are collected with a single interaction.
If a fruit is Rare or better, eat it immediately. Servers hold ten players, everyone can see everyone, and an uneaten fruit on the ground is fair game.

Tip: skill levels save per fruit, so eating something you find does not erase progress on a fruit you used before. That makes the plant route the safest way to experiment.

Fruit Chest prices in the shop

Fruit Chests are sold in the in-game shop for Celestial Coins, and Robux is also accepted. Bigger bundles lower the cost per fruit, but they do not shift the odds. Darkness stays at 0.5% no matter how many chests you open at once.

You do not have to earn every coin through combat. The Achievements tab inside the Logbook pays out Celestial Coins for milestones you have already hit, so claim those before spending anything.

Drop chances for every Cursed Fruit

Ten fruits are currently in rotation, and knowing the rates tells you whether a chest run is worth it. Uncommon fruits account for half of all pulls between them.

How to confirm a fruit actually landed

Each route gives a different confirmation, and knowing which one to look for saves you repeating steps you already finished.

  • Codes: the reward appears in the Codes menu as a pending item such as 1x Fruit Chest or 2000x Celestial Coins until you claim it.
  • Wizard’s Apprentice: the quest disappears from your tracker and the fruit box arrives in your inventory.
  • Tree spawns: the fruit vanishes from the plant and moves to your inventory after the E prompt completes.
  • Eating a fruit: its skill tree becomes available in the Skills menu, with the first skill unlocked at level 0.

When a method does not work, the reason is usually one of a small handful. A code fails when it has expired or was typed with the wrong capitalization. The wizard quest cannot be handed in without all four dug items. A tree yields nothing when another player on the server reached the node first, or when the hour has not turned yet.

Fruit skill unlock levels

Getting a fruit is only the start. Each one holds four skills, unlocked as that specific fruit levels up through its own tree in the menu.

Skill slotFruit level required
First skill0
Second skill3
Third skill7
Fourth skill12

Because that progress is stored per fruit, there is no penalty for holding several and switching between them. Run the codes first for an instant chest, clear the wizard quest once for a second, then build the habit of standing near trees as the hour rolls over. That combination gets most players a usable fruit inside their first session, and keeps supplying more without spending a single Celestial Coin.
