The Wolf is a Mythic-rarity pet added to Grow a Garden 2 by the Fall Harvest update. It stands apart from every other creature because it is the only pet that makes more animals appear on the map, turning your garden into a source of fresh critters to buy each night.
Quick answer: When a moon rises at night, an active Wolf howls and spawns a pack of wild animals across the map. A Normal Wolf spawns three, a Big Wolf spawns five, and a Mega Wolf spawns eight, and you can buy each spawned animal with Sheckles.

How the Wolf’s night summon works
Keep a Wolf active and it will prowl around your garden during the day without doing much. Its ability triggers only when night falls and a moon rises in the sky. At that point the Wolf howls and calls in a pack of wild animals that appear at various spots on the map.
The effect is strongest during a full moon, when the Wolf spawns more creatures than usual. The size of your Wolf decides how many animals join the pack.
| Wolf size | Animals spawned |
|---|---|
| Normal Wolf | 3 pets |
| Big Wolf | 5 pets |
| Mega Wolf | 8 pets |
You are not limited to a single Wolf. Deploy several at once and each active one howls when a moon appears, scattering wild animals across different points on the map. Walk up to any of those animals and you can purchase it with Sheckles like a normal creature.
Note: Every animal the Wolf spawns has a 0.5% chance to be Big and a 0.002% chance to be Mega. These odds are fixed, so there is no way to raise them.
Staying out at night to hunt these spawns has a trade-off. Leaving your garden after dark leaves your crops open to fruit theft from other players. Pets such as the Black Dragon and Ice Serpent can guard your harvest while you are away.

The Wolf is a Mythic pet, so it rarely turns up. It has a 0.2% chance to spawn anywhere on the Fall Harvest map. Once you spot the critter roaming the map, interact with it and you can buy it outright with Sheckles.

A Wolf costs 6,500,000 Sheckles. That makes it the most expensive of the pets the Fall Harvest update brought in, sitting above the Dog, Hedgehog, Turkey, Squirrel, and Swan.
You build up Sheckles mainly by harvesting and selling crops. You can also earn the currency through event quests, or top up by buying Sheckle packs with Robux from the Store.
The Wolf earns its price by feeding you a steady stream of buyable creatures every moonlit night, and a larger Wolf pays that back with a bigger pack. Pair it with a defensive pet on guard duty and you can hunt the map after dark without losing crops back home.
