The Scary Seeds Shop restocks randomly, like every other shop in the game. With a 1.5% stock chance, the Fang Root rarely shows up. Most restocks will pass without it, even when you have the Candy Corn ready. The Robux and Trader Token purchases skip that roll completely and put the seed straight into your inventory.
The Fang Root is also part of three seed packs. Those are the Haunted Seed Pack, the Exotic Haunted Seed Pack, and the Rainbow Exotic Haunted Seed Pack. A planted Super Seed will never turn into a Fang Root, so that isn’t a way to get one.

Once you plant it, the Fang Root takes eight hours to fully mature. After that it starts producing fruit you can harvest and sell. Because it’s a Multi-Harvest crop, picking the fruit doesn’t remove the plant. It stays in your garden and grows a new fruit on its regrowth timer until you dig it up yourself.
The 120,000 Sheckle figure is for an unmutated fruit with no other modifiers, and that’s a normal price for a Divine crop. Mutations raise it a lot, and a mutated Fang Root fruit can sell for more than a million Sheckles.
