Grow a Garden’s Summer Event keeps rolling out weekly content, and its third part leans hard into player-versus-player chaos. The headline addition is Chest Conquest, a timed scramble where you fight to haul loot chests back to your garden. On top of that, Part 3 expands the Tide Token Shop, drops three new plants and a handful of pets, and clears out a long list of bugs.
Quick answer: Summer Event Part 3 adds Chest Conquest, which starts halfway through every hour. Five chests spawn, you carry one back to your garden without getting your chest stolen, and you unlock a random reward based on the chest’s rarity.

Chest Conquest: How the new PvP event works
Chest Conquest kicks off halfway through every hour and runs for a few minutes. When it starts, five chests appear on the map for players to fight over. Your goal is simple. Grab a chest, carry it back to your own garden, and you open a random reward from inside it.
The catch is that everyone else wants those chests too. You can swing your shovel at other players to knock a chest loose and steal it for yourself, so a delivery is never guaranteed until the chest is safely home. Higher-rarity chests hold better rewards, but they also slow you down while you carry them, which makes them easier to snatch on the way back.
Four chest types can spawn during the event, each with its own reward pool.
| Chest | Reward quality | Carry speed |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Chest | Best | Slowest |
| Mythical Chest | High | Slow |
| Legendary Chest | Medium | Moderate |
| Rare Chest | Lowest | Fastest |
You know the run worked when the chest reaches your garden and opens into a reward. If another player lands a shovel hit and takes the chest before you get there, you get nothing from that attempt, so protect your carry and pick your route carefully.
Shelldon the Clam and the new pets
Shelldon The Clam is the marquee new pet this week, and you don’t hatch it from an egg. Instead, there’s a chance to unlock Shelldon when you trade regular pets, so it rewards players who are active in the trading loop.
Part 3 also brings Hippocampus and two or more additional pets that can be unlocked through the event’s reward tracks. Alongside them are three new plants to collect.
| Type | New additions |
|---|---|
| Pets | Shelldon The Clam, Hippocampus, and 2+ more |
| Plants | Gilded Grove, Okra, Seaspray Grass |
Tide Token Shop and Team Harvest rewards
The Tide Token Shop gets a restock in Part 3, with more items added that you buy using Tide Tokens earned through the Summer Event. If you’ve been banking tokens, there’s now more to spend them on.
Team Harvest continues from earlier parts of the event. Each day you aim to hit the Summer Points goal, and hitting it earns a reward. Reach the goal on 6 out of 7 days and you unlock the Lagoon Lily Seed. Teaming up with other players speeds up progress toward the daily goal, and Part 3 layers in fresh rewards this week, including new seeds, pets, and cosmetics.
Bug fixes and quality-of-life changes
Part 3 comes with a broad round of fixes aimed at visuals, trading, and pets.
- Fixed rainbow plants that weren’t visually appearing rainbow
- Fixed a visual bug where some Robux prices showed higher than the real cost
- Fixed blank shop UIs
- Fixed switching garden slots sometimes triggering the update early
- Fixed players not receiving the Tiki Totem seed when it was gifted
- Fixed NPCs spawning too far away
- Removed a floating egg stand that appeared far off in the sky
- Fixed various team-related issues and a selling bug
- Fixed various pet bugs and made general performance improvements
The Tiki Totem fix is worth flagging if you traded or gifted one earlier. That plant mutates a nearby fruit with the tidal mutation every 10 minutes, and tidal fruit is central to the Summer Event’s harvest submissions, so getting it into the right hands matters for progress.
Between Chest Conquest, Shelldon, and the expanded token shop, Part 3 is built around getting players moving on the map and back into trades. If you want the Lagoon Lily Seed before the event cycle wraps, keep hitting that daily Summer Points goal, and jump into Chest Conquest each half-hour for a shot at the Divine-tier rewards.
