The standout pieces are the twist-open figure and that double-sided poster. The back of the poster is a full view of the state, and it is the only physical Leonida map Rockstar is offering, since the standard game packaging ships without one. The Oakley sunglasses and the New Era cap carry most of the real-world value; the mirror, shot glass, spoon, keychain, pins, and stickers are minor extras.
Despite earlier talk of a game disc in the collector’s edition, the box has no place for one and includes neither a Jason nor a Lucia figure.
The rare Rockstar merch the set revives

Purchases require a Rockstar Store sign-in, and the one-per-person restriction applies. After dispatch, Rockstar emails an order confirmation containing a tracking link; the delivery option selected at checkout determines when it arrives.
The catch: there is no game in the box
This is a merchandise bundle, not a copy of the game: it has no disc or download code, so GTA 6 is not playable from the box. That matters given the game’s digital-first release; even the standard physical base-game edition supplies a download code rather than a disc. The game is a separate purchase at $399.99.
To play on launch day, you pick one of two digital editions. Both cover PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with no platform exclusivity.

The box and Standard Edition together cost $479.99; pairing it with the Ultimate Edition brings the total to $499.99. After redeeming their code, Standard Edition owners may later get the Ultimate Edition Upgrade through the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store. Since the Ultimate Edition has no physical release, store-bought physical boxes contain the Standard Edition code.
The Ultimate Edition adds the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with a garage, the Shitzu Squalo watercraft, Jason’s safehouse vehicles, the Classic Car Collection, the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, personalized weapon variants, and exclusive shops such as Rideout Customs, Stock 305, and the Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor. That content unlocks progressively across the story rather than landing in your inventory at once, and none of it is in the collector’s box.
Pre-order bonus, pre-load, and shipping dates
The collector’s box does not include the game’s pre-order incentive, again because it does not include the game. Buy the Standard or Ultimate Edition before November 20, 2026 and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack, which adds the ’55 Vapid Stanier and garage, retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also include one month of GTA+.
Pre-loading the digital version becomes available at local midnight on November 12, 2026. Redeeming the code packed with the physical Standard Edition lets its buyers pre-load too. PlayStation download codes are region-locked to matching accounts, unlike Xbox codes; buying from your own country is therefore the safest option.
Shipping for the collection begins November 19, 2026, which is also GTA 6’s launch date on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This marks when dispatch starts, not when delivery is promised, so the box could arrive after launch depending on shipping. On release, delivery is available in these regions:

For most players, this is one to skip. The contents are the only thing you are paying for, making $399.99 a lot to spend without the game. The cap and sunglasses are the only items with notable value on their own; everything else is a modest novelty, though the mirror, spoon, and keychain have some Rockstar-history appeal. Anyone focused on playing GTA 6 on November 19 would be better served by the Standard or Ultimate Edition, leaving enough cash for one or two separate merchandise pieces.
Collectors with previous Rockstar boxes have a solid reason to consider it. If you own sets such as the Red Dead Redemption 2 collection that this one resembles, adding the Vice City Collection fills out the shelf, and the exclusive Leonida map poster is a real selling point. Otherwise, it is a nice-to-have rather than a must-buy, and the limited supply may run out while you are deciding.
