Rockstar Games has quietly revised the Grand Theft Auto VI product pages on both the PlayStation and Xbox stores ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 launch. The changes cover the pre-order bonus cutoff, new legal and trademark text, and a small but real fix to one of the Ultimate Edition rewards.
Quick answer: Buy GTA 6 before 23:59:59 on November 19, 2026, to keep the free Vintage Vice City Pack. The earlier November 20 cutoff no longer appears on the store listings.
New pre-order deadline for the Vintage Vice City Pack
When Rockstar first revealed the pre-order bonus, the studio said every GTA 6 pre-order or purchase made before November 20, 2026 would qualify for the free Vintage Vice City Pack. That wording has now been tightened.
Both stores now list the requirement as “Purchase prior to 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59.” In practical terms, the cutoff has moved a day earlier, so anyone who wants the pack for free needs to lock in the purchase before that timestamp on November 19 rather than waiting until the 20th.
The Vintage Vice City Pack is included with both the Standard Edition ($79.99) and the Ultimate Edition ($99.99), so the deadline applies no matter which version you buy.
Ultimate Edition fix: Macca the Gator, not Alligator
The Ultimate Edition bundles a set of upgrades, and one of them is Goodtime Gear, a collection of costumes inspired by the fictional TV show character. The listing previously named that character “Macca the Alligator” on both PlayStation and Xbox.
That description now correctly refers to him as Macca the Gator. It is a cosmetic text fix rather than a change to what you receive, but it lines up the store copy with the character’s actual name.
Xbox listing adds Vice City trademark and legal notice
The Xbox page picked up a few extra changes that the PlayStation page did not. The trademark section now lists Vice City, which had been missing before. The full line reads:
“© 1997–2026. Rockstar Games Inc. Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto VI, VI, Vice City, R*, and related logos are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. All other marks and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. All rights reserved.”
Rockstar also inserted a licensing disclaimer directly above the trademark block. It spells out that buying the game grants a license subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, that some features may require an internet connection, a Rockstar Games account, a single-use serial code, or additional fees, and that the game is fictional with any resemblance to real people or places being coincidental. The same licensing language already appears on the PlayStation product page.
One formatting tweak also went in on the Xbox side: the bullet points in the game description were switched to dash points.

None of these tweaks change how GTA 6 plays, but the earlier bonus cutoff is the one worth acting on. If the free Vintage Vice City Pack matters to you, treat November 19 as the hard line rather than the 20th.
