What the $99.99 Ultimate Edition adds over the $79.99 Standard version, plus the Vintage Vice City Pack every pre-order gets.

Rockstar Games has set the price for Grand Theft Auto VI and opened pre-orders ahead of schedule, with the Ultimate Edition sitting at the top of the lineup. It bundles the full game with exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits, in-game stores, and two side missions woven through Jason and Lucia’s story.

Quick answer: The GTA 6 Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and the Standard Edition costs $79.99. Pre-orders go live at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, and the game launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

GTA 6 Ultimate Edition price vs Standard Edition

There are two digital editions. The $20 gap between them buys a large pile of extra content rather than just bonus cash. Both editions include the same Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus, so the Ultimate Edition’s value comes from everything layered on top.

EditionPriceWhat you get
Standard$79.99Full game plus the Vintage Vice City Pack

Both editions are available as digital copies for pre-order now. A physical version that contains a download code inside the box rather than a disc is set to arrive from November 12, which is also when preloading begins.

How to pre-order GTA 6 on PS5 and Xbox

Pre-orders run through the console storefronts. PC is not part of this launch, so there is no PC pre-order yet.

On PS5, open the Grand Theft Auto VI page on the PlayStation Store and select the edition you want.
Choose Add to Cart for the Standard or Ultimate Edition, then complete the transaction to finish the pre-order.
On Xbox Series X|S, open the Grand Theft Auto VI page on the Xbox Store, pick the edition from the dropdown, then select Buy and complete checkout.

You will know the pre-order succeeded when the store shows the title as purchased and the game appears in your library as a pre-order. Preloading becomes available before launch so you can start playing the moment GTA 6 releases.
