Hall of FUT is a new player item type coming to EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Team, built to honor footballers who became fan favorites inside the mode rather than only on the real pitch. EA revealed the first five names, all rated 84 or 85, and they sit as a historical tier below ICONs and Heroes.

Marouane Fellaini (85 CM)
The 6’4″ former Belgium midfielder is a heading specialist with the Precision Header PlayStyle. His high physicality and all-round attributes let him work at both ends of the pitch. His Hall of FUT item also keeps the afro.
Adebayo Akinfenwa (84 ST)
Known as the Beast, Akinfenwa is the strongest of the five. His Enforcer PlayStyle backs up an 88 Physicality stat, so he can bully center backs off the ball. His overall stat line reads 72 PAC, 80 SHO, 61 PAS, 74 DRI, 36 DEF and 88 PHY.
Eljero Elia (84 LW)
Elia is the fastest of the group, an agile winger with raw pace, ball control and dribbling. He carries the Rapid PlayStyle, which suits players who want to run in behind on the wing.
Loïc Rémy (84 ST)
Rémy is a pacy striker with strong dribbling and finishing, equipped with the Low Driven Shot PlayStyle. He is a good fit if you prefer nimble forwards that stay sharp in front of goal.
Giovani dos Santos (84 ST)
Dos Santos is the versatile option, able to play as a playmaker or a striker thanks to the Tiki Taka PlayStyle. He combines pace and shooting with four-star skills and a four-star weak foot, and his 88 Dribbling is the highest among the five.
How to get a Hall of FUT player
The Ultimate Plus Edition is the only route with a firm deadline. Everything else EA has confirmed is coming, but without a set date.
The same edition also includes an untradeable International ICON rated 85 or higher, 10,000 FC Points spread across five monthly drops, and Seasons 1 to 5 of the Premium Pass.
Beyond the Player Pick, Base Hall of FUT items are exclusive to the FUT Gallery. The Gallery Token Store is the only place to earn them. You fill Sets and grade them to collect Gallery Tokens, then spend those Tokens, and EA plans to refresh what the store offers throughout the year.
Special versions of these same players are separate from the Base items and are set to arrive through in-game Campaigns during the year. No Campaign names or dates have been confirmed yet.
Where Hall of FUT sits in the item hierarchy
Hall of FUT is a fresh tier of historical items that ranks below ICONs and Heroes. The concept, which EA describes as “FUT Fame,” rewards players for what their cards meant inside Ultimate Team across its eighteen-year history, rather than only their real-world careers.
The tier is split in two. Base items live inside the FUT Gallery, while special versions come out through Campaigns. Because Heroes and Icons tend to be low-rarity items in packs, expect these cards to fall on the rarer side as well.
More inductees are coming
EA has said the initial five are only the inaugural class and that more names are on the way closer to launch. No further players have been officially named. Other footballers have been floated in tracking lists, but only Fellaini, Akinfenwa, dos Santos, Rémy and Elia are confirmed at this stage.
