Chapter 1, The Road to Haddonfield, hides two Loomis Logs inside the town Michael Myers passes through after the sanatorium escape. Both are tape recordings that add to the story, and both sit slightly off the main path while you deal with the bikers and the runners the level throws at you.
Quick answer: Log #1 is in the room on the left of the bar’s restroom hallway, on the vanity. Log #2 is on the office desk inside the gas station across from the auto shop.
Loomis Log #1: Inside the bar restroom hall
The chapter opens outside a bar, where Michael works through a group of bikers both outdoors and inside. After nearly all of them are down, a cutscene plays as one steps out of the restroom, sees the aftermath, and bolts. That triggers a prompt to chase the final biker.
Loomis Log #2: The gas station office
Once you’re back outside, another cutscene shows the biker running, followed by a mechanic. Before you go after the mechanic, you have room to explore the town, and that side trip is where the second log is.
How to confirm you collected both logs
These logs are recordings, so you listen to them rather than read them. After the level ends, open the Graveyard menu on the main menu and scroll down to the tape on the left. Anything you’ve picked up shows there, and you can play back each recording for more detail. If a slot is still empty, one of the two logs above was missed on your run.
