Prologue Challenge 4 in Halloween: The Game asks you to throw an Orderly to his death during the opening escape from Smith’s Grove. It is one of six optional challenges in Michael’s Story, and it hinges on a single environmental takedown at a railing rather than a normal execution.

Quick answer: Grab an Orderly, carry him to any railing, and hold the interact button when the skull icon appears to throw him over the edge. Finish the Prologue afterward so the challenge saves.

Railing locations in the Prologue

The throw only works at a railing that has an open drop behind it. There are a few usable spots across the level, and the one closest to the start is the fastest.

RailingWhere it is
Start railingDirectly to the right as you exit the Asylum at the beginning of the mission. Usually two Orderlies are nearby.
East railingOver on the far east side of the starting area.
Gate railingToward the gate at the far end of the mission. From the power box, head left to reach the railings.

The start railing is the easiest choice because two Orderlies patrol close to it, so you do not have to drag a captive far.

How to throw an Orderly over the railing

Pick a railing and approach an Orderly from behind. Move close enough to build Stalk on him automatically, then grab him when the prompt shows.

Drag the grabbed Orderly to the railing. When you reach it, a Context Execution becomes available, shown by a skull icon.
Hold the interact button while standing at the railing. Michael throws the Orderly over the edge, killing him and marking the challenge as complete.

Note: If several Orderlies are near the railing, clear them first or throw the one you grabbed before the others reach you. Another Orderly can shove Michael and force you to drop whoever you are holding, which cancels the throw.

How to confirm the challenge counts

The game reports the throw the moment the Orderly goes over the railing, but the progress only banks once you complete the Prologue. Reach the back of the station wagon and finish the escape so the challenge saves. Leaving or restarting before the chapter ends throws away the completion.

The most common reasons the throw fails to trigger are being shoved out of the grab by a nearby Orderly, or standing at a spot that only has a wall behind it instead of an open drop. Use a confirmed railing and keep other Orderlies off you while you carry your target.

Prologue Challenge 4 rewards

Completing the throw grants two profile cosmetics.

To equip either one, open the Graveyard tab from the main menu, go to your Profile, and choose Customize. Both cosmetics apply to your profile only and do not affect gameplay.

Because the railing throw needs direct contact with Orderlies, it fits naturally into an aggressive run alongside the other combat challenges, and it does not mix with the no-alert challenge. If you are chaining objectives, handle the telephone pole execution first and then move to the nearest railing, since the two takedown spots sit close together.
