The Fanta armor turns Master Chief bright orange, and it is one of the few cosmetics in Halo: Campaign Evolved you can grab for free without buying a specific edition. It comes from a Coca-Cola promotion, so unlocking it means finishing a short web puzzle and redeeming a code rather than earning it inside the campaign itself.

Unlock the Fanta armor step by step

Scanning the code redirects your phone to the challenge menu. Three options appear: Extract the Cargo, Survive the Sweep, and Shatter the Spell. Select Extract the Cargo, which is the one carrying the Master Chief artwork, then tap Yes when it asks if you are ready for the mission.

A Forerunner glyph puzzle loads with a 50-second timer. Five glyphs sit in the center of the screen, and a “decoding active” box in the top-left corner shows the orientation each one needs. Tap a glyph to rotate it until it matches its target.

Solve the glyphs in the correct sequence so they spell out the word FANTA. If you rotate a later glyph early, it locks in on its own once the sequence reaches that point. Finishing before the timer runs out completes the challenge, and if you miss it you can retry right away.

On the reward page, choose the orange Master Chief armor at the top of the list, then tap through to redeem. This sends you to Halo Waypoint, where you sign in with your Xbox account and, if you do not already have one, create and link it.

Check your email for the redemption code and enter it on Halo Waypoint. Once the code is accepted, the armor is tied to your account and ready to load into the game.

How to confirm the skin unlocked

The clearest sign it worked is Halo Waypoint accepting your code without an error. After that, boot up Halo: Campaign Evolved and open the armor customization menu, where the bright orange set should be available to equip on Master Chief.

Note: there can be a short delay between redeeming the code and the cosmetic showing up in your inventory. If it is not there immediately after redemption, give it time to sync and restart the game before assuming something failed.

Common reasons the unlock does not work

The Xbox account is not linked at the redemption step, so the skin has nowhere to attach. Make sure you are signed in on Halo Waypoint before claiming.
The glyph puzzle timer expires before all five symbols match. Retry the challenge and lock the glyphs in order.
The code from your email has not been entered yet. Completing the puzzle alone does not grant the armor; the emailed code must be redeemed on Halo Waypoint.

Timing, sweepstakes, and other rewards

There is no separate expiration listed for the skin itself, but the sweepstakes attached to the promotion is tied to a July 30, 2026 date. Because the offer is running during early access, it is worth claiming sooner rather than waiting.

The same challenge can be completed once a week, and the Halo armor is only one of several rewards on the reward page. Other options in the rotation include freebies for Call of Duty, Diablo 4, World of Warcraft, and Forza Horizon 6, so the Halo skin will not always sit at the top of the list.
